They should've cast the forearm gun covers in solid blue rather than the clear blue of the cockpit and other parts: the Infinitor release had red on the cockpit and stuff because they needed the covers to be red.

That's Brave Maximus, the third color variation of Fort Max (Grant is based off Grand Maximus).

Third parties are largely aimed at collectors of characters from G1 franchises. Any other continuities - RiD, Unicron Trilogy, Animated and even Beast Wars - are rarely if ever represented. I remember there were a few add-on kits for TFP toys, like Dreadwing and Megatron getting proper weapons, but again it's very rare.

+Elijah Salinas Not necessarily. There are quite a few continuities - such as IDW - where Fort Max and Scorponok are normal-sized, so it works if that's what you're going for.

It is incredibly small and I've struggled for a place for it but it finally found a home with the DX-9 and Iron Factory legends figures. City mode is still a disappointment but the robot mode looks great
