Great video review!!! 🤗❤️🤗❤️🤗❤️ I just bought the TP Deco W3600 Mesh Wi-Fi system for Walmart on Wednesday on a clreance sale for $81.00 dollars because I need to extend my wifi to my backyard just a little bit for a better connection for my new wireless security camera my husband and I installed in our backyard. My 32 year old twin son told me to get this kind of system for extra wifi signal to reach out into my back yard. I seen this when I was at my local Walmart on clearance and I thought I'll try it out. I still got to set it up and I just have been watching reviews and setup videos. I love how you explain the setup process for this system!!! 🤗❤️🤗❤️🤗❤️

I have a gateway (modem/router) provided by my ISP. It also broadcasts a wi-fi signal. Is it best to use the same network name when setting up the Deco X20? Are there any other connections to or from the gateway to do, since it is more than just a modem?

Are the nodes able to have a wired connection between them for a wired backhaul channel. Also with the master node wired to ur router to create the mesh network, does the original network (the one produced by the isp provided modem) still transmit wifi as well alongside the mesh network
@LamarMK3 жыл бұрын
Did some more research, and you’re able to use Ethernet as a wired backhaul to link all the nodes. The modem provided by my ISP is just a standalone modem, there’s no router capability on it. If you have an all in one modem/router from your ISP, you can login to it and disable the WiFi networks or have your ISP disable it and just use the WiFi network from the Deco itself. 👍💪

I just bought the Deco X20 3-pack and I installed it as WIFI access point, I was getting 471-476 down and 27-28 upload using both Deco speedtest and my own utilities from my laptop and phone( Analiti and xfinity speedtest), so far so good BUT when I set it up as a router I can only get the 471 using Deco speed test (from router to outside), if I use my laptop or phone I get half 254-262 down and 22-24 upload. All of the Decos are connected with ethernet to my network. The only change is from WIFI access point to Router, same equipment and utilities while I did the test. It means the the Router feature doesn't work right or it is not good enough.
