We have 100 Mbps internet but the modem is in the hall. My room is at the back so there is no internet access. We got Xiaomi's Wi-Fi booster too. I have internet in my room but I can only get 10-15 Mbps. There are many ping problems in games, especially in Valorant. This Wi-Fi booster is deploying 2.4GHz. I wonder if I would benefit from buying this 5GHz TP-Link RE315?

I got 1000 mbps and my extender is picking up 200-175 mbps at the dead zone on the other side of the house good enough for what i need. I have an older netgear extender that one barely picks up 32-47 mbps at the same place got this unit on special for $20 so i upgraded

Probably too far away from your router, try moving closer for a better signal ....
