Certainly one of the more difficult games, especially if you get all but one number, it comes down to a 50/50 shot of pulling out the last number or the last strike. Also I can't remember how many times the rules of this game have changed, either to accommodate for 5-digit price tags, or to try and make the game easier (removing two of the strike chips, giving the first of the 5 numbers for free, etc.)
@litigioussociety4249 Жыл бұрын
It still comes down to a crappy 50-50 chance at the end. That's why this game is so annoying, because no matter how well the person plays the game, the end is equally challenging. The only solution would be to get rid of the strikes, and make a strike every time a person gets the number wrong, and then has to win a chance to go forward like in Pathfinder. Unfortunately, that would be worse odds, because I think the average number of guesses required to win is around 6, unless you let the person guess twice each time, and count them as one ball and one strike.

The contestant name Kathy at 2:33 was a beautiful ginger. Wow, was she stunningly attractive. If I was a man way back in 1983 and I was there I would have gone out of my way to ask her out on a date and get her phone number. By now, 38 years later she is probably an old white haired granny. Sigh....

The odds of winning this game are really bad. If they would give you the number when you pull it out it would be more fair, having to guess on top makes it very hard and RIP Bob.
