7:48 71975 on the license plate, is another nod to splash mountain. It is paying a tribute to Song of the south memorabilia, From the Wonderful World No.7 The reason I say that is because The Wonderful world of Disney No.7 came out in 1975, so this must be a reference to that, as if you combine the numbers together, it says 71975, the same thing on the license plate.

Your reply makes more sense than what I thought. 1975 is when Carousel of Progress opened at Magic Kingdom in Florida after being at Disneyland for 6 years (wish it was 7 to match the plate since there’s no July or July 19 reference)… which is then how America Sings came to be at Disneyland. That’s where the Splash animatronics came from.

According to the disney parks youtube channel Lari the Armadillo stole all of the items that were used as instruments for the band. So, the band didn't steal them themselves they got it from mischievous lari. 😂

7:42 I did a little digging on the significance of the year 1975 in Disney history and came across the Disney wiki for events and things that happened in 1975. I found in my research a list of Disney artists that joined the company in 1975, and one artist stood out to me, Randy Cartwright. He worked on Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, the lion king, and get this... The Princess and the Frog! Im assuming the 7 and 19 may represent the day Randy joined the project of the princess and the frog?

Has anybody else realize in the shop, a figurine of the log with some band animals in it has the rabbit on the front of the log like the splash mountain one's did. They did remove the rabbit on the actual ride vehicles.

I recently went to Lagoon, an amusement park here in Utah, and their newest ride "Primordial" breaks the norm for the otherwise traditional rides they feature. Lagoon's rides are usually just get on, ride, and get off but this one actually has a story, a preshow room with an audio animatronic who gives exposition, an in ride videogame that displays your score, multiple endings! Seriously Primordial feels like something you would find in a California/Florida park! I recommend checking it out if you're ever in the area. Just know if there's a visible line outside you'll probably be waiting two hours for a very short ride.

I'll be honest. Although Splash Mountain is sadly gone, Tiana's Bayou Adventure doesn't seem that bad. It's not perfect, but it still has secrets that pays tribute to its old counterpart. Anyway, thanks for showing the other secrets TPM Vids 😁

yeah there really was no reason to get rid of it. in the concept art you can actually see it was supposed to be the tree that holds the boat that mama lives in. but for some reason they ditched it completely even though it would totally still make sense

Honestly, the most surprising thing in this video was seeing the Tiana animatronic in the finale move. When I rode, she was frozen except for the head, and I didn't know if it was a malfunction or intentional.

There's another hidden Splash Mountain Easter Egg in Tiana's Bayou adventure. When you depart in your log there was a barrel on the left just before you went up the lift hill. On Tiana's Bayou adventure there's the same barrel in the exit giftshop. There's 1 more tribute to Splash Mountain.

Honestly, I find Splash Mountain a bit better than Tiana's Bayou Adventure. I like how in Splash Mountain you feel like you are reliving the story, while in Tiana's Bayou Adventure your pretty much revealing a more uninteresting story than the first. I also dislike that the only reason you go down the big drop is to get to the party on time, while on Splash your being thrown into the Briar Patch alongside Brer Rabbit. I feel that if Dr. Facilier was in the ride, and we could maybe even see voodoo dolls on the lifthill, Tiana's Bayou Adventure would've been just as good as Splash Mountain. Tiana's ride just lacks story. What do you think? Do you prefer Splash Mountain or Tiana's Bayou Adventure? I can say though that Tiana's Bayou Adventure is a very good ride! 😄

I thought they were going to reuse some of the animal animatronics from Splash Mountain in the Tiana's Bayou Adventure, but it seems to be exclusively brand new ones. Which I mean, I don't mind them adding new ones, but I feel that some of the animatronics should have at least been recycled. They weren't just apart of Splash Mountain history, but also a part of America Sings history.
