Theory time! I’m not sure if this is obvious or not, but I think blackhole’s nightmare isn’t just ‘death’ itself, I think it’s about blackhole killing, or about his ‘murderous thoughts’ when they aren’t being controlled. I just find it interesting to think that he may actually be thinking about killing people, as if it’s a desire that he’s suppressing. If this is true, that could be one of the reasons why he doesn’t want to kill anyone ever. As someone whose favourite character is blackhole, I’ve had time to observe him more and make some theories like this. I feel like he’s so adamant on preventing death (even when it does more harm than good, or if someone (aka tree) wants to be killed to be respawned) because of something that has happened in the past that we currently don’t know of. He used to live in space, so did something happen there to make him like this? Or did he always want to prevent death, but in bfb something happened to make him take it to extreme measures to prevent death?
