As you explained in the video, using those colours draws our attention to the illustration. But looking at your illustration it seems, its missing that "Hey look at me, and stop scrolling!!! You bottom-feeder" feeling.

I'd actually like to see a breakdown of Lack-sensei's art, Shiranui Flare's illustrator. I've recently tried and failed to see what his process was, and I was hoping to get a new angle on it before I tried again. wow, i learn from u a lot- ngl. I try a lot of art style nowadays, cause im still not sure what kind of art style im comfortable with, kinda jealous to see some people have their own art style. Im not an art student, and i never got chance to learn art in a proper class, bcs i was being forced to learn in some subject that i really doesnt like. so i put arts as my hobby cause my family also not supportive abt me learning arts.
