16:48 that part is very memorable and compelling to me. It makes me think of an old cherished music box playing for the very last time. And 20:08 I’ve usually liked remasters that play a mighty or powerful tune there but this reminds me of seeeing lake Hylia restored and that it wasn’t just enemies being impressively defeated that’s heroic but it was how beautiful and peaceful the settings were after and this part makes me think of that side of heroism.

You have an absolute gift for making an original soundtrack far more impactful, and far more beautiful than it ever was originally. Walking through Hyrule Castle with Farewell Hyrule King playing...god that was the most bone chilling moment of my childhood. Even though fictional, you can feel the presence of ancient warriors before you and their battles. Its so solemn and somber, that it brings this instinctual of humbling honor over you.. this version captures it nicely.

My absolutely favorite part of this is the final part, Farewell Hyrule King. I realize that it's massively difficult to actively pick a better portion, almost to the point of impossibility, but I have to go with the music that's been the most loved for longest. It does an incredible job of portraying just how dark the game itself is. Think about it. An entire land, a land that we explored, one that was fought over for countless years, is simply being forever drowned, to lay dead at the bottom of an ocean that is itself an illusion. The King sort of broke the curse, but also damned the people of the Great Sea, in a sense.
