What do you guys think about the Honda trx400ex. I’m picking one up on Wednesday. I’m upgrading from a warrior so this should be pretty good I’m excited. I do mostly trail riding, open fire roads and the occasional dunes throughout the year. Thanks for all this great content.

We appreciate you watching. The 400EX is a great machine. Ironically, I had a very hopped up Warrior the year that the 400EX was released in 1998. That Honda handled so good the first time I saw it I went home and put the warrior up for sale. You will love the Honda. Keep us posted.

We didn't build this one in the prices in the video have most likely gone up a bit since then. We'd say it was expensive.

Why run heel gard nerf bars on a motocross build? Wouldn't it not save weight to have normal nerf bars instead

Heel guards are great to have if you miss a footpeg. It will keep you from running your foot over. I've done it.

with all of these shits on the bike, and hell lot more even if you fit. This shit can never match the handling and the performance of A KTM 505SX.

We did a Motocross shootout in 2010. The KTM suspension was mid pack. We have the 450 SX oh, essentially the same suspension is the 505. The KTM was a good machine but it was definitely not Out Of Reach of a lightly modified Japanese 450.
