Thanks for so many great reviews, but on this occasion I feel you dropped the ball when it comes to the Splash. You had the mix set so low that there was very little wet in the signal and we never really heard what was going on. Also a quick demo of the 'kill dry', which can produce some amazing sounds especially in the i mode, would have been good.
@Grant_Ferstat6 жыл бұрын
Both sides of the Paisley sounds great but I just wish it had the option of a toggle between mode for those of us who would rather set up dedicated dirty rhythm and lead sounds and toggle between them rather than stack & have to switch two things off to get back to the clean amp sound without requiring a switcher.
@rafsbio6 жыл бұрын
Same here, Grant. I feel like my ideal pedal would be a twin TS, with a on/off footswitch and a A/B footswitch. I usually go rhythm with bridge pickup, some gain, tone half-way, and unity volume, and solo with neck pickup, no gain, tone and volume wide open.

Hi guys. I watched the Our Guitars & Gear videos where you both say that you like a high action. Can you pleaese tell me your measurement from the bottom of the strings to the 17th fret (if that is where you are taking your measurements from) on Mick's Strat and Dan's Tele. The reason I ask is because I've recently bought a Classic Vibe Strat and Tele. I'm really struggling with setting up the Tele. I've tried it with a nearly completely flat neck, a generous amount of relief. I've tried using the minimum recommended action from Fender's website to raising the bridge saddles so there is none of the adjustment screw poking out the top and I'm suffering from fret buzz on the E and A bass strings when I mildly dig in (especially when doing something like a power chord). I've also noticed a harmonic ringing on the B and high E string when played open (when tuning) and I'm beginning to suspect there is an issue with the neck beyond the scope of a standard setup.

Is the pink panther (sounds so so great) in the neighborhood of the echo system sound-wise you guys think?? It sounds a bit special seems like when compared to a boss or carbon copy. Love delay & looking for the right one, but don't wanna go too deep in settings & such yet with the larger more complex pedals out there. Also love the show utterly!
@ThatPedalShow6 жыл бұрын
+Paul Falvo I’d say yes. Mick here. I’m a big fan of the Carbon Copy however - most good analogue delays have a fullness/warmth that sounds great (to me anyway). Perhaps the relatively singular nature of the PP means they could keep the audio so good (ie there aren’t a trillion features that needs loads of circuitry/filtering/fixing etc etc etc). I’m speculating. Dan may have another opinion.

Your show is the only channel that time just flys by when watching. So good! If you don't mind, I have a Question about my Providence CronoDelay, pedal. It has a noticeable noise floor even when switched off. Could this be just my unit. its subtle but annoying. Much love from Sydney Oz!
@ThatPedalShow6 жыл бұрын
its buffered, so it depends on what its plugged into, for example, if your plugged into an amp that has loads of gain, or have a distortion on before it might add a touch of extra noise from the buffer, but plugged into a clean amp I dont get any audible noise.
@ThatPedalShow6 жыл бұрын
+gelatosamurai Hello, Mick here. Fist off, pull it off the board and test it with guitar and amp only. If the noise persists then yep, it has a high noise floor. If the noise isn’t there when it’s off the board, it could be a power supply issue - is it properly isolated? If it’s not properly isolated, it might not be the delay - it could be getting the noise from elsewhere which is a common issue with digital pedals if they’re not properly isolated. If it is properly isolated and it’s still making noise, double check your patch cables. If it’s /still/ making noise you either need to decide if you can live with it (or not) or investigate a higher end power supply (which still might not get you completely silent). Hope that helps. If Dan reads this he may chime in with whether his Is noisy. Cheers!

+Danny Walker GMC it is almost impossible to make recommendations on pickups, it comes down to the individual guitar and guitar player in my experience. How would you compare the Pink Panther to the Walrus Audio ARP-87? They look similar at first glance, but I'd love to see a deep dive.

id be very happy with either one, Pink Panther might be a bit brighter

That Pedal Show Thanks! I just started getting into the world of effects and your show is indispensable. Have either of you unlocked the secret mode on the ARP-87?

I bet the Paisley Drive would do a pretty workable Brian May tone.

Gentlemen, have you reviewed the Greer Amps Lighspeed in any of your videos? I tried a search and didn't come up with anything. Can you provide a link if you have a review video for it? Thanks!

Haven’t done it on TPS, but I played it on the Andertons channel and really liked it. Mick here. Maybe we can get one in!

Hi Mick and Dan, There were no Fuzzes for a while... Fuzz is all you need. All you need is fuzz :). On Anderton channel there was very interesting Clusterfuzz. I would like to hear something more in comparison to classics andother modern.

+Jacek Sikora We just had a fuzzstravaganza with Analogman in the US, so you can expect a fuzzy show soon.. albeit around vintage style Fuzz Faces. Then we should do a modern fuzz show for balance. All in good time.... :0)
