Arnold Jacobs describes the importance of using ones imagination and emotions in the creation of meaningful music. He posited that within the student population there is an imbalance between time spent acquiring information (sensory) and imparting information (motor). The bulk of a student’s time is spent in the activity of acquiring information (practicing and assessing). Jacobs believed there should be much more time spent in the act of imagination, conception, and communication (performance). Be an actor while playing. #ArnoldJacobs #JakePed
