tr8s is a much complicater machine ,samples ectr,but if u buy the mx-1 from roland they have also a scater funktion,flanger ectrthis twoo in cobination,u can make almost evrything,cost of thes +minus 400,-euro s but it make your studio compleet,also becous the handy usb connectons.i dont say u must this but its a tip for u,i have the tr8 also and you can so much do whit it.endles.good luck
