That's so amazing that you race a Tuono against superbikes ---- may I ask why choose the Tuono platform for racing in superbike race though? Do you have to modify it heavily to make it competitive? I just got a 2019 Tuono Factory and I'm waiting for delivery. I would love to track it, would appreciate any information on "must do" for track days with the Tuono. I raced amateur league on 2013 ZX6R --- I understand the basics, but very curious about what you've done for your Tuono to make it track competitive. Thank you!

we raced for Gabro race team the year before at mugello for a wildcard ride and won our race so we then made the plan to try take of super bikes with a tuono because its just a stand out way to go about it plus no one had done it before in italy in national trophy. this tuono is very modified, 2017 rf rsv4 heads on the tuono 1100 bottom end with 17 rf cams, pistons needed cutting to suit extra valve lift. the 2019 tuono would greatly benefit from the Gabro race team race ecu (he programs the poem ecu for race use) we used ducati eve 1100 handle bars as was a flatter bend and more comfy o track as well as shaved the risers lower by 5mm, but really apart from a trick ecu and different bars the bikes handle great, rear right hight needs raising usually 317mm shock length is a good start and 2 rings showing on the forks. light weight wheels help a lot with change of direction speeds. look up TR20 on Facebook and message us. only more than happy to help with anything.

Thank you so much! I receive the Tuono next week. I will reach out for more insights and help shortly as I prepare for the track season. Should I get the Gabro ecu with just stock exhaust or do I need aftermarket? If I need aftermarket what do you recommend?
