So cool to share a hobby with your son. Does he like the mn strap on the watch? Looks great on his wrist imho. On a different note, did you actually fit 20 mm lugs into the R6TR case? That's pretty unusual if the case has 19mm lug width.

Andrei!!! Ok, so he always takes his watch off when we’re playing games or when we’re having dinner at home. He almost forgot to take it off before shower (we shower right before going to bed)… he said it’s the most comfortable strap so far! Again, thanks so much for the recommendation! We both really love it! About putting the 20mm spring bar onto the R6TR, the simple answer is yes! So here’s what I’m getting on my caliper. The lug width of the R6TR is 19.1mm. The new 20mm (2.5mm) spring bar I bought is 22.9mm uncompressed including the tip 21.3mm uncompressed excluding the tip 19.6mm fully compressed including the tip 18mm fully compressed excluding the tip The tip is about 0.8mm long on each side. I put one side of the spring bar into the hole first which makes the length around 18.8mm (fully compressed). This gives it enough clearance for the other tip to slip into the hole. This, naturally, causes the spring bar to always have about 1.75mm of constant compression on each side when set to the R6TR. I could, sort of, imagine what negative effects that could have on it’s structural integrity in the long run. Once again, I’m hoping that the issue here is actually negligible but again, we’ll see what happens! Haha But seriously, writing stuff like this to a mathematician is very anxiety evoking…. I’ll report back once it fail. Luckily for the R6TR it’s a pass-through strap…

@@zikandesu Hahaha, don't worry. A mathematician's eyes usually glaze over when we see concrete number computations. At least mine do. Becoming a mathematician is a very efficient method of not having to deal with concrete numbers too often :) I have never tried to fit 1mm longer straight springbars into a case before. I have done it with 23mm springbars that i bent myself for my blue Vostok (to avoid the really annoying part on the back of the case that ruins straps), but bending the springbars obviously makes the distance from tip to tip shorter, so that made sense to me. Never thought of trying 20 mm bars for a 19 before... and i feel kind of stupid for it because i remember at some point i lost one of the springbars for a Yema Flightgraf and had to wait for a few days to get a replacement. Had plenty of 20mm springbars around the house of course...
