Hey guys! This is RACECAR go brrr! (the maker of the switch panels). I'm actually using my old Series Blue Adventures KZbin account because I recently rebranded and haven't set a new one up yet. I'm making this post because Kevin Vo here made a fantastic video, but it came out just a few days before I announce a slew of changes to my switch panel offerings. I currently offer the switch panels (3D printed) and aluminum engraved faceplates with custom labels (machined) as two separate offerings, which adds up to a rather expensive buy if you want both of them. However, I'm about to announce "Version 2" of my panels, which replaces the 3D printed chassis with a CNC machined chassis, and includes the custom engraved faceplate, only for about $10 more than the old 3D printed version with the black vinyl covering. It's a significant improvement since you get custom labels for all your switches now, for a lot less if you wanted both (so basically, instead of $110 for a push-start panel and faceplate, it would be $80). SO, if you want to order, I suggest checking back in just a few days for the updated product lineup. And if you ARE someone who placed an order in December, I'll be reaching out to you once I get the new listings online, and asking if you want to switch your order before I make your panel. THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO, KEVIN! It's fantastic!

Phenomenal news, where can we check for availability of the new offerings? I'm interested in buying the tracbox (separate obvs.) and your new switch panel.

As as I understand from your website....you can use six switches and they can fit in the centre console. Not just restricted to four switches?
@seriesblueadventures98323 жыл бұрын
@@chrismbroome 4 or 6 switches if you have a key start car, as the cubby is larger. 4 switches only if you have a push-start car :)
This is amazing! Since my tires are well above stock size due to the widebody staggered setup, the TPMS light always greets me. This is fantastic. God bless Gerald Just Projects and people like yourself to show how to install it.

Sorry for the lack of documentation. It's something that I've been meaning to improve upon, but just have been busy constantly making panels in my free time, lol. It started as more of a product targeted towards electrically-savvy folks who just wanted a clean way to mount their switches, but who already knew what they were doing for the rest of it. Plus depending on what you're wiring up, the way you wire it up can vary somewhat. I do need to sit down and write down some basics, though!

I want the switches just because they look cool. I have been trying to figure out if the 2020 BRZ radio has a mute wire to hook up to my laser jammer and if there's a way to run a USB cable into the glove box so I can put my Carlinkit wireless carplay adaptor in the glove box.

how did you daisy chain the power/ground? Did you add more wire of your own or just use what was provided? seems like what i got in my kit isnt long enough to do what you have shown. thanks - im a noob with electricals

I was able to do it with just the wiring that was included.

Kevin: I just got my switches and my box just shipped, so I haven't even looked behind the radio yet. Where did you pickup your power and your ground for the switches? It may be plainly obvious once I open up the console, but I just like to have a plan before I start taking things apart. Thanks for the great vid.

The plug that runs out of the trac box will have a power and ground wire that you can use for the switches.

Hey, I am really confused and I wanted to know. @Kevin Vo How do you have an entire shop like that with 4k subs? You could have just bought it (or maybe work at it and can use it?) with money outside of KZbin but I always see content creators spending their youtube money on a garage or shop, kind of like Adam LZ. I just want to know because I want to do youtube for my project car eventually and I wanted to know how you acquired such a nice space.
@KevinVo2 жыл бұрын
The shop is not mine. I work at Subispeed/FTspeed so I am able to utilize their shop. Honestly, I don't make much money at all on KZbin, but I enjoy doing it so I'll continue to do so as long as I'm able.

I did get that code, but was able to clear it. Do you leave your pedal dance switch on when you start the car? Not positive, but that may cause it.

Do you have a 17+ model? I’ve had the same problem, and noticed it was only on the newer model twins. I let my friend use it on his 15 frs and it seemed to work fine… any update?
