Added this today to Husky Z54- everything lined up right. I am tall (6’4”) and was worried about the added height plus my legs not being able to have enough clearance with the steering arms, but this proved a non-issue. Hi Johnny. Turning the knob tightens or loosens the spring tension (turn right for a firmer ride and Left for a softer ride). Set the tension soft enough so the suspension does not bottom out and then you can make fine adjustments while riding. Thank you!

5:45 . I think this is the problem I’m having. I have a touro timesaver and there are no tracks. You mentioned 1/2 inch tubing. Like the square metal framing material from Home Depot? Also shouldn’t it be 1.5 inch tall spacing? I seen a fella open a hole under the seat for the suspension to go up and down as well

Been looking everywhere for a Trac Seat to fit my 2014 Gravely ProTurn 52... Model #991201... None of the Trac Seat model #'s match it... I would buy a whole new suspension seat or just the kit if I could find one that would fit it....

Got it installed on my Toro Titan Max 60". Was a bit of a bear but did not have to drill any holes and the safety switch wire was jussssst long enough.

I might have made it harder on myself but I didn't see a way to connect my safety switch after installing the suspension so I had to do things in a bit of a different order🤷‍♂️ an option for an extension that used the same connections would have been worth the money!

Just purchased one of these and should be here in a few weeks. I have an Ariens Ikon X and it doesn't have rails on the seat. I will just have to fabricate some mounts for it, I do hope its worth it. The ride is rough i have no idea how they let this design pass.

You will need to remove the sliding tracks and install them on the bottom of the suspension to give the required clearance to function. Thank you!

I have a bad boy magnum and it doesn’t have slides , i see where you mentioned that. Can you tell me if you have one to fit and how many washers would i need to use when mounting? Thank you in advance.

Yes, but some of the magnums require drilling of the suspension. Our bolt pattern is 11.5” front to back and some of the magnums are 11”. We also offer 3/4” spacers on our website so you will not have to stack washers. Let us know if you have anymore questions. Thank you

Hi! Yes, it should. It just depends the seat they put on it that year. The bolt pattern of our suspension is 10.69"-11.25" wide x 11.5" front to back (center to center). If your model has sliding tracks you will not need spacers. Thanks!

Some customers have to add additional wire due to the added height. As far as the springs, make sure there is nothing blocking the pivot points on the bottom of the suspension. Thank you

hmm. When mine came in it seems much flatter. i wonder if it is jammed up, it only has about 3/4 inch movement, regardless of knob adjustment.

From top to bottom the suspension should be 2-3/4”. It may be a clearance issue between the bottom of the suspension and the mower. You are welcome to email us a picture of how it is installed and we will help you out. Thank you

It fits some grasshoppers. It depends on what seat you have. To determine if this seat suspension kit will fit your application, you will need to measure the bolt pattern on the bottom of your seat. It needs to be 11.5 inches front to rear and 10.69" ‪to 11.25” or 9.50” side to side for the suspension kit to work. The suspension kit mounts between the seat and the sliding tracks. Your mower needs to have sliding tracks for this suspension to function. (Otherwise, you will have to incorporate 3/4" spacers under the suspension and possibly longer bolts for the suspension to function properly.) The kit is 2.75" inches tall and will handle weights up to 286 lbs, . If you do not have slide rails, it will raise your seat up about 3.25'-3.50" once you have the spacers under the unit. Also, you need to check your seat safety switch. If your switch protrudes beneath the bottom of the seat, you will need to use spacers between the seat and the suspension kit as well. Thank You

Just bought a New exmark radius and they wanted $500 for the seat upgrade. Knowing that the exact same thing is available for $180 is both pleasing and irritating that exmark wants the extra $300 for pretty much nothing. Thanks Trac seats, and shame on exmark. Everything else on the unit is top notch, so why do they try and rob you so your back won't hurt?

Most customers say that the extra 2.75" is not an issue. If it is an issue, some mowers have adjusable lap bars. Aslo sliding your seat back will help as well. Thanks!
