This was my husband favorite song. In 2017 he had a massive stroke. When they told me there was no hope. I played this song for 15 hours over and over until he took his last breath. I hope and pray he heard as he was entering heaven’s gates.

I really love this song, but... this particular version is not the original, this is the "European club mix" version... apparently it was done by a couple of German DJ's...at least that's the story I've seen getting around for years... I think the original is on the album "Songs About Me"... the title track from that album is a real banger too... Also, you can try some of his lighter stuff like, "Hot Mama", "Brown Chicken Brown Cow"...then there's "Every Light In The House", "Swing", "Then They Do", "Ladies Love Country Boys", "You're gonna miss this", "Still a soldier", "Rough and Ready", "Jesus and Jones", "Lit"(one of my personal faves)...Trace Atkins has about a dozen or so albums, starting in 1996 through to 2017(?), so you're bound to find something to tickle your fancy... *edited for content... ;/

A lot of people don't realize this song was written by Jamie Johnson. He didn't want to record it because he didn't want to be seen at this type of singer for his debut so he released The Dollar instead. Trace Adkins records pretty much anything and took it and turned it into a smash hit.
@justinkase52692 жыл бұрын
Trace Adkins does have that deep classic country voice, but for this song he used it for evil, lol. I was never a big fan of the song, but I won't dislike it either. It kind of became popular for country stars to do a song that's very different from their usual sound just for shits and giggles. This is the one from Trace. Like Toby Keith, he does the typical love/lost love type songs as well as some patriotic type stuff. I live in a small town in Arizona. So when I want to find a beer or booze that is NOT among the mainstream type brands, I will wait until I am in Tucson and check with a store called Total Wine. I checked their website and they don't have this one anywhere in Arizona. It sounds like one I would love to try myself. The website I checked out tells me the nearest location for me to get it (at a Total Wine store) is in Illinois...and they do not ship. I'm not going all the way up there to pick this up, lol. The website shows the price at $71.99. If it's available near you, it may be cheaper since you're in the same state that makes it. Enjoy it. The way you two described it makes me really want to try it, so I'll look for it at other stores here in AZ.

Oh Lawd!!! Y'all are so freaking funny!!! Trace Adkins is one of my favorites! So, here's my story… I went to karaoke one night and this guy got up to sing a Trace Adkins song and…OMG...It was Trace Adkins!!! Sike...so I thought. This guy was as tall as Trace is, he had a cowboy hat on with a long western coat down to his feet like you would see in the movies. And he sang just like him. I could swear it was Trace himself. I spoke to this guy afterwards and turns out he's a big Trace Adkins fan… Duh! He also goes to Nashville a lot with his wife and one time they were there and were able to be one of his shows. He said that a lot of the ladies would come up to him asking to take pictures with him. They thought he was Trace Adkins! This guy lives a few hours away from me but works at Boeing in North Charleston. He comes to town every so often and would hit all of the karaoke spots like I did. He's one awesome guy! Back to the real Trace Adkins… I just love his voice! He's got some really awesome songs. One of his songs that I really like and it's a serious one acalled "Every Light In The House." It was one of the first songs I heard from him. He really is an awesome guy! He's very patriotic. That's also one of the things I love a lot about him! He has my vote!!! LadyGator1983

I have never been a fan of the music video because they: A.) Used the Club House Music Remix version of the song over the official album/radio country version. And B.) The dancers didn’t have Bodonkadonks. All because choreographer convinced the director to use the dancers from her own dance troop by saying it would save money and it would take less time for them to learn the routine. I do enjoy the original song though. kzbin.info/www/bejne/e5vTe3aPm8ysrMU

Another song that is quite fitting for your channel is his hit song 'What Whiskey Does' "I'm gonna light one up and sit right here I'm gonna drink this hole in the wall out of beer And when that ice cold beer loses its buzz I'm gonna let that whiskey do what whiskey does"

Tall guys have no problem driving 458s, 488s, or F8 Tributos. (Those are the only ones I've seen on track with tall dudes). - Keith

Yeah, the venue in the video was strip-clubbish, though the song really isn't. - Keith

@@BourbonCountryReacts You listened to this one by Trace Adkins... Its a remix with different songs talking about butts. It's hilarious. Home Free takes classic songs and remixes them and makes them their own... Some are hilarious and others will just blow you away by their talent. No need for bribing, your ears will thank you once you have listened to them.
