I now also have to become a country boy because of this song because I actually agree with what the song was about, Ladies do love country boys a lot! Happily married, but damn if I wasn’t… I remember “Sailor week” when I was younger (when the US ships came in to Perth WA for a while), no you didn’t go home with them, but oh my god the accents, the tans, how hips move when they dance, the hats, the way they tip them at you and call you “mayum”- makes you totally melt! Maybe not the video, though. They should have used the hourglass shaped dancers that he personally picked out instead of going with the choreographers girls.
