Why does Zeke's wife appear to have never been looked at as a suspect?! She'd have had access to the apartment using his key. Zeke could have gone in the apartment first to make sure she hadn't left anything incriminating; if he'd done it, he'd have known the condition of the apartment.

I don’t have kids but if someone said they could take and make a loved one of mine disappear, I would lose my sh**! There is NO WAY I would not put that person on blast in every way possible so they knew that they would be the first person suspected if that happened. I can’t even begin to comprehend how Brandy’s mother “wrote it off”. My heart goes out to her and I am not blaming her at all but my eyes bugged out if my head when I heard that part.

The information provided indicates that Zeke was'nt very cooperative with the police in their investigation of what happened to Brandy. Then, while in prison, he admits that he called in false tips to lead the police in the wrong directions. To do this shows a strong motivation to steer attention away from himself.

I think Zeke and Ray could have both turned on her. If she told Ray that she'd never come back to him and Zeke's wife wanted her gone, Zeke may have done it to prove to her was done. Brandy seemed like a great person, too bad she got involved with those two losers.

If Brandy was pregnant, then that would really have been a motive for Zeke to get rid of her. The key to solving this case, at this point, is to try and figure out who the two guys were that helped Zeke -- who would he have trusted at that time? Co-workers? His drug suppliers? I'd wager that it were likely guys in the drug trade that helped him.

@subrosa4792
@subrosa4792 5 жыл бұрын
Sounds to me like the police already know who the two guys are. I think they’re keeping their evidence under wraps, the way police often do in these situations. Because of double jeopardy, the police need to have a rock solid case before they’re ready to risk going to trial. If found not guilty, they can’t be tried a second time for the same crime. I think the family should file a civil lawsuit in the meantime, if found guilty in a civil trial, that improves the chances of being found guilty in a criminal trial.

Just saw this on TV, my opinion - Zeek did it. He picked up a jason mask knowing it would appear as though it was rays truck as that's a pretty obvious and recognisable feature to set him up as the fall guy. Zeek and Ray both looked very similar. Then used his sisters phone to point the police into the direction of Ray. Id hazard a guess Zeek and his wife did it. Wife was jealous or not happy he was with her in the past and wanted her gone. Then he shows up at her house, truck staged to look like Ray's to neighbours, she jumps in the car, and either the wife is in the back and chokes her from behind or zeek kills her. But I would bet my entire life savings zeek is the culprit and knows what happened to her

I wonder if that old abandoned Naval Base is the one once known as N.A.D? My family lived on that base once bas housing was build about 1962. 6 Old Tom Rd. We Lewallen's were the first to live in that duplex. Before moving there we lived in N. Charleston. Oh well, enough of memory lane, now back to the story!

We have so much relational violence in this country because; industry, has been shipped out, we have no real safety nets for struggling people, drug illegality creates a violent market for dealers; and last but not least, people in the US have a primitive sense of ownership of one another, this leads to violence from; mostly men, when a breakup is imminent.

Solved: it's zeeks wife, love triangle ends bad. Zeek sets the girl up telling her he will come over later to talk. But instead it's zeeks wife who shows up in zeeks truck, she calls zeek says I'm in front of her apt. Plan is ready. Zeek calls her says I'm here come on out 5o talk, she does, that's why her apt. Is untouched and seems like she will be right back, she gets to zeeks truck, the window goes down to reveal zeeks wife with a gun, she says get in, she takes her to that construction area. Shoots her and sticks her into a 55 gal. Drum that's already at the construction site, bands it , rolls it in a predug hole. The end. Please send me money. Xxxooo jk, maybe!

This is the craziest setting and plot!! It’s so unreal it seems like a radical novel with outrageous people of all kinds! Is North Carolina really like this? This story is like living a true nightmare day in and day out! This seriously happened in just 2005??

Wish I could come up with a better theory than both of her men have turned against her. - Or an unrelated stranger could've snatched her; these are of course the hardest cases to solve bc she didn't know her kidnapper before. (Similar to the recent Jayme Closs case, she didn't know him before he killed her parents; just to snatch her). Hopefully she doesn't suffer in someone's basement for decades)!

These young ladies need to understand that 99.9% of the time this has nothing to do with love for these married men, but pure lust. Being in between a man and his wife is always a dangerous place to be. It'd seem Ray too was not a good person either. I'm so sorry for whatever has happened to her, and now, her heartbroken mother. 💔💔

I can not decide whether Ray or Zeke did it, for both seem immensely suspicious. theory: they did it together. they used to be friends, until Brandy started falling for Zeke. Ray wanted her back, but she wouldnt budge, Zeke wanted to be with his wife again, she pressed him to end things with Brandy. both men got together and talked, coming together in the feeling that Brandy ruined them both and their friendship. Ray wanted revenge for her leaving him, Zeke needed her out of his life. they both conspire to get rid of her. afterwards Zeke is dumb enough to get caught acting suspicious and trying to frame Ray, but lucky enough not to be charged. Ray died before anything could come out.

It's a sad but true fact that the most dangerous time for women is during a breakup. Men seem to go apeshit while women deal with it rightfully all the time. Get over yourselves guys,there are billions of other women out there. Is it testosterone or some leftover caveman gene? It must stop. Have more pride and faith in yourselves fellas. We love you. I know I do (if you have self control).
