She is great on so many, many levels, and like Streep continues to come out with performances that blow my mind all over again. For some reason I would love to see her work with Martin Short in something, but I suspect it would be such mingling of brilliance that the universe would just explode.

I was lucky to meet Tracey in person during her career as a very gifted singer in the 80s. I dropped dead during our interview - she was incredibly funny and such a sweet, bright, charming, natural human being - I felt immediately: now that is a MULTI TALENTED LADY! Let's keep an eye (and ear) on her! The next interview was with an upcoming American singer: Madonna. And I felt immediately: now that is just a girl with nothing but sex appeal, little voice, big mouth, too much in love with herself and a total lack of humour! It is TRACEY who deserved both our hopes for a long-term musical and actors career... They are the same age group (like me) - and just compare the two: TRACEY is such a great and extremely funny, natural person and everyone in the audience is in love with her! And Modanna - plastic and still too much in love with herself with very limited artistic skills...

Love this! Tracey and Meryl obviously stayed friends after Plenty in the 1980s and both have went on to continue their careers with awesome performances. Tracey's State Of The Union is incredibly well done. A real Tour de Force! Meryl...what else can be said?
