WHAT IS THE ATHEIST EXPERIENCE?
The Atheist Experience is a weekly call-in television show in Austin, Texas geared at a non-atheist audience. The Atheist Experience is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin.
The Atheist Community of Austin is organized as a nonprofit educational corporation to develop and support the atheist community, to provide opportunities for socializing and friendship, to promote secular viewpoints, to encourage positive atheist culture, to defend the first amendment principle of state-church separation, to oppose discrimination against atheists and to work with other organizations in pursuit of common goals.
We define atheism as the lack of belief in gods. This definition also encompasses what most people call agnosticism.

When I saw you terrified in Hell you promised me that you would help a poor family by buying them groceries, then you would help other people. You would do that or fight climate change or fight for social justice, i.e better working conditions. This is what you promised me to get out of Hell. @@chuckm1961 most believers that I have heard or talked to don't understand what evidence is. A book is not evidence. What their preacher/mother/grandmother, etc. told them is not evidence. Saying it couldn't have happened any other way is not evidence. Personal experiences are not evidence. Arguments are not evidence. For me, if you could pray to your god and someone missing a limb regrew it right then I would accept that as evidence that something has the ability to do that. Or if you can do that to my crippled nephew and he could walk normally again and feel his genitalia again, then you would really have a case for god, and I would start going to church. So far, thousands have tried, zero have been able to produce any real evidence. Which is what you would expect if that thing is non-existent.

Renee is just another one of the self-righteous, self-styled Christians who mindlessly quotes (and misquotes, occasionally) what her bible indicates whenever they're backed into a corner with questions they either don't want to answer or CANNOT answer. But to hear her denounce Ray Comfort because he preaches "a false gospel" was a killer comment, and her statement that there are going to be a lot of bad people in heaven and good people in hell was a condemnation of her personal god. A classic example of insulting one's own intelligence as an attempt to spite one's detractors. Tracie is exceedingly polite, and has more than the usual measure of patience---but she is right to cut off anyone who is so mindlessly determined to inflict her brainwashing on others. @@RikRiorik In a nutshell they had a guest on who made a controversial video about the trans movement. The ACA put out a letter saying they supported the LGBTQ community and the guest said that they threw him under the bus. So at what is normally a mundane election of board members, the guest's KZbin followers rushed ACA memberships, appeared, voted out any leaders who supported the letter as it was written. Eric (from Talk Heathen) who imo has always been sleazy supported them to keep his influence and they managed to fill all the seats and made Matt president (Matt was caught in the middle). So most all the other major more visible faces of the ACA who helped make it wonderful were pushed out. I was always big into the community service we did and they absolutely killed that part of it.

And as a theist she obviously was already seeking answers to biblical silliness which is 90% of the way out the door. I doubt she was going door to door preaching the word of god....

John 3:16-19 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil Psalm 14 14 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. 2 The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. 3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. 4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the Lord. 5 There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous. 6 Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the Lord is his refuge

@@heewatamsuen7252 Apparently god didn't give up his only begotten son since according to scripture Jesus ascended to be by his father's side soon after. If you get to keep what you've given up then you haven't really given it up. All Jesus gave up was a weekend. Hardly a sacrifice. If Jesus stayed dead or was condemned to hell for an eternity, now that would be an impressive sacrifice. Getting to rule the universe with your father and be worshipped by billions is a damn good payoff for a shitty weekend.

My adveice to you is to repent and give your life to the lord Jesus Christ stop hardening your heart,, its not worth losing your eternal soul in hell, deep inside your soul you know you have no hope without The lord Jesus Christ in your life, the devil will always try his best to keep you away from God, but without God life is meaningless. Whenever Christians tell me that I'm going to find out the truth someday, I've always taken comfort in telling them; "I would say you're going to find out the truth someday, however you actually won't find out, because you'll be dead."

8:55 The look on Clare's face after Renee says Ray Comfort teaches false gospel is hilarious. You can practically see her thoughts, "oh boy, here we go...'

Yeah I rolled my eyes so hard when Renee said that shit. It reminds me of an old youtube clip posted years ago of how two baptist preachers got into a fist fight because each preacher accused the other of not teaching the gospel correctly and thus sending their congregation straight to Hell. Think how insane that is. Atheists get shit on constantly for being fools and not wanting to convert but even people from the same denomination, with churches less than a mile away from each other, think that the other church is crazy for not believing their exact bullshit and will burn in Hell for it.

There's nothing more "eye rolling" than listening to Christians explain why other Christians teach a false gospel. It's like listening to two comic book nerds talk about why their theory of how Peter Parker turned into Spiderman is more correct.

The scientific explanation of God is this: "this alleged entity has no place in any scientific equations, plays no role in any scientific explanations, cannot be used to predict any events, does not describe any thing or force that has yet been detected, and there are no models of the universe in which its presence is either required, productive, or useful,”

I literally can't believe people think this way. To willingly admit that evil people are more deserving of heaven based on the simple fact that they believe...it's disgusting.

Great job Tracie! As a former Church of Christ member myself, I'm sharing your journey. As far as believing = saved, James 2:19 (KJV) says: Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. This caller has no clue.
