My white friend, during the pandemic, sent their kids on skiing trips at a resort, when my children were marching for the 2020 protest from May until September, daily and then sporadicly until it all stopped. Same friend went to the family boathouse on the 4th of July 2020, while mine were being targeted by the proud boys. It made me feel some kind of way…

Riveting, and I mean riveting interview! I’ve heard Ms. McMillan speak to another interviewer, (white guy) but with a black man it has extra layers not explored previously. So much more rich and meaningful.
