Very interesting listen. We have had this a couple of times from brands when recreating some classic motor circuit buildings which have logos on them. The logos historically have been on said buildings for ever. We didn't change or alter logo in anyway but got told to remove logos from the buildings.

Very interresting issue(s) in terms of reproducing slotcars. Carrera is on the safe side of it, because all their products are under their trademark. The replicas have the license by th manufacturers and all other involved. For instance the NASCAR slotcars, which are comming this year. That took so many peoples involved in it and all those who are in the NASCAR family , as well. One can hardly understand, or figure out, what is all behind it. Dave Kennedy talked about it, a few months ago in one of his streams. Carrera has a lot of money, but small slotcar companies don`t. This makes it difficult and complicated for them. I was always asking myself, why there was no big company going against it/them because of the trademarks and licences in the past? Maybe they did not have a focus on it, but that may change now. lol No seriously, we all love our slotcars, which were driven by some of our idols and it would be a very sad thing, if that will stop because of all that legel crap in terms of Trademark, License and what not. All we want it is to have fun racing our slotcars and not all that legal stuff behind it. And to be honest, that driver is pretty greedy, if he wants 30%. But there you go, those bloodsucking moochers are everywhere. Keep the good contents up Marco and all the best for your comming racecar. :-)
