FairPlay for contacting you and paying for the wheel. I just did a day at Donington, to be fair the etiquette was pretty terrible. 9/10 it was the race cars that were overtaking on the outside of corners. Drag race amg was funny, you always get them. In all fairness that looked like a chaotic trackday 😂

For my 40th birthday many years ago, I had a driving experience day at Donnington. Couple of laps in a Formula Ford and a couple of laps around a rally stage that was in the centre of the track. Now you can combine both on the same lap 😂😂. They should create a new sport and call it Rallycross lol. Great fun and always good for the lads to have a go as well. Nice perk of the job 👍

The guy with the MX5 had his tyre on incorrectly. The rear tire you can clearly see “inside” on the outside! The front tyre looks like it’s directional and the arrow is pointing the wrong way. 😳

Tbh with the cars back end just whipping out iv had 3 minis and all did this to me from time to time but the convertible was the worst but only ever happends when the road was wet or slippy and under heavy braking or letting off the accelerator during a corner i found keeping the accelerator on worked better to correct it but it happens so fast sometimes its hard to catch if it was a dry day the car was nice on the road never a problem lol 😂

In the brief they always say, pass on the straights, that was a corner and no indication of pulling to the right to pass. People no longer listen at briefings because they know best!

Quite a bit earlier, the mx5 went down the outside in the brakin area, where Scott passed the c1 is an acceleration zone so a 'straight'. Ryan was a bit late though

I’m with Ryan, this isn’t a race it’s a track day and track day rules are there to avoid precisely the incident the MX5 driver caused. The MX5 driver should have been banned for the day. And paying for a wheel doesn’t fix the rear wheel arch or any incidental damage caused.

Guy made it somewhat right but I honestly dont see the point of arguing like that in the pits, I am certain that discussion went on after marshal came and explained who was at fault. maybe one message they should push in the briefings is to NEVER ASSUME. Have it on a board in big letters lol. Unless the driver infront has given really obvious indication, either literally indicating or clearly pulling offline, do not overtake. Jake did neither so why that guy thought it was ok to pass there before Mcleans makes no sense at all. Good thing he paid (only because you're a big youtube channel, nationally renowned tuner and filming it......or maybe i'm deeply cynical and he was just a nice bloke 😀)
