Nice tip man ! I usually use the basic "View: Expand selected track height, minimize others" action, along with "View: Toggle zoom to selected item", but custom actions dith the SWS A/B track height can add more options and flexibility !

Very useful tip! I did a different solution: By binding "View: Toggle track zoom to maximum height" to the toolbar, it goes to max zoom on selected track. Then you click it again to return. Though only effective on one track editing😅 Have a good one 👋

Recording without actually recording is so frustrating! Always amazing what you can customize in Reaper. The ` key is called backtick by the way, caret is this one ^

this is great thanks ! how do you get the tracks that thin though by default ? and so that each new track you create has the same height , without having to manually adjust the track to the same size after creating it? thanks !

Go to Preferences>Track/Send Defaults, and you should see an option for "Default track height in new projects. Make a clean project and add a single track. Make that track the height you want by default, then go to the option listed above and select "use current."

HELP!!!! MUITO OBRIGADOOOO... Ja usou o Reaper para fazer uma mixagem de uma LIVE em tempo real para um streaming ???????? Eu uso o Reaper pra isso aqui na minha igreja. Mas alguns plugins como TRIGGER, GATE, LIMITER, geram muita latencia entre os canais e tento corrigir isso usando plugin de sample delay (JS: TIME ADJUSTEM DELAY ) nas outras tracks para compensar essa latencia, mas mesmo assim nao consegui ainda, o audio final fica com atraso entre as tracks . ALGUMA DICA ????

oh... I figured it already 😁 if someone need it one should edit rtconfig.txt . The line should have to edit tcp_heights 4 24 35 58 ; supercollapsed, collapsed, small(norecarm), recarm size

Hi Myk, I have an editing question. Is there a way to copy splits from an item on one track to an item on another track? Not the audio, just the splits. I do a lot of background vocal edits and as I go through them I wind up having to re-split the new versions after making various changes for noise cleanup, plosives, de-essing, etc. I'd love to be able to copy the splits from the versions I've edited to the next version efficiently without having to re-split each phrase. If Reaper doesn't do this, OK - just tell me so I can stop going down this rabbit hole. - Thanks, John
