Wow. We already know how amazing Guthrie is as a guitarist...But this really shows how amazing of a teacher he is.. He could with ease, outplay any of these guys whenever he wanted to. But he doesn't.... Instead, he tries to challenge them, and to show them how to play better., and gives them challenges on how to become better musicians. You probably have to be a guitar fan to appreciate this...This isn't a a video of Guthrie trying to show how how good he is. This is a video of Guthrie trying to show fellow guitarists, how to become better at their craft. Even thought he is a master, he still want to teach amateurs. And to show them the way. This is the way of a true master. Much respect!

Late to the party, but he's such a master BECAUSE he wants to teach other people (and wants to further improve himself). And challenging them, and seeing the response is probably a lot more fun for a proper musician than just showing off how much better he is. The dude probably loves music in general, which is why he's done a lot of different stuff, including a collab with Dizzee Rascal (rapper), and iirc some stuff for Pendulum
