Hurricane Francine intensified right up to landfall, and was able to attain a brief C2 peak right as it struck Louisiana. Thankfully, there have been no casualties reported, though the system was quite costly.

@pabloEstas_1 Francine was once forecasted to be 115mph; they never went higher than that. Probably the GFS' fantasy land that wanted that.
