This is poetry on screen. This amazing car with your incredible cinematography, couldn't ask for more. The sounds that come out of that exhaust are goosebumps inducing. Although I have never driven anything close to that, I have had the chance to drive a couple of new Mercedes and I must say the MBUX is the best interface I have ever tried. I know you liked the interior Dan but how did you find the use interface? Anyway, thanks a lot for this video, I watched it on the 82 inch and had to go down in the theater room to watch it on the big screen.... Twice

@Francois Boisvert Thanks Francois, I really enjoy shooting in fall weather. The colors and leaves falling with a beautiful car is always a good combination. It reminds me of my time last year with the Infiniti Q60RS when I was in Montreal. Shame that we have such a hard time travelling lately due to COVID, haven’t had a vacation at all this year. Quite frankly though, I didn’t go through the interface much. I will say that I like the cluster options more than BMW and slightly more than Audi. The continuous screen is also a big win in my book. Either way, it seems that I’m planning my first Mercedes purchase next year, but it’s something that no one will ever guess.

i think the technology and user interface in the merc is excellent - the steering wheel based buttons for driver assistance are brilliantly designed and located perfectly. The onboard tech - analysing the greatest level of detail in race mode is to an untrained eye F1 inspired. The HUD is excellent. You also get prelaoded tracks - which if you go to the track will give you HUD based co driver instructions on bends speed breaking points etc (i never did this though). The interior is not as well fitted as other 100k plus (UK) cars ive since been in. Seats are great though - cooling not so great as others. If tech and driver assistance were my key to why i bought this car, i would have stayed with the amg.

I gotta be honest, I was NOT expecting this car to be featured on the channel. The color, I saw one in this same color when I worked at Benz. Beautiful color. The one I have in forza, I made it this same color. It’s such a beautiful yet aggressive car at the same time. I feel like it does absolutely everything above average. Comfort, luxury, appearance, presence, acceleration, and handling. Wow, great shots. Ah yes i remember the M850i. Damn you got gapped 😂😂😂 Nice fan of yours. This car is an absolute monster. It has quite a bit of power for a 2020 Yeah it’s very heavy sadly, that’s it’s flaw. The all wheel drive is crucial to its performance overall. How is the body roll? I’d love to know from your experience. Holy shit that thing is a missile. Wtf Just keeps screaming for more power. I wonder how a TTRS would fare against this. Probably not very well stock lol. Would be a VERY interesting run though. Ooh those brakes Alright VBOX time 5.41 is quite impressive 8.61 60-130 wow. That beats the TTRS for sure TTRS is right up there with the GT63 on 0-60. Impressive TTRS is still right there in the 1/4. Not bad Alright this is a great car. I’d still take it over the M5 honestly, it just is way better all around in my opinion. I love the Mercedes side bolsters. Great tech I made my lotus in need for speed a bit brighter and less vibrant after seeing your lotus in a video I rewatched. It looks more like krypton green than the last time you saw it. I think this car is the best of everything. Great car for sure. Definitely a bargain Awesome vid man, oh shit an ad. @ Noble Vigilance I don’t know if this is the same color you saw at Benz because it’s a custom wrap color unless they wrapped that one at the dealership too. Regardless, it is a really hot color. I didn’t get a chance to really push it so can’t say much about composure through a corner, but it felt solid overall. The GT63S is definitely faster than a TTRS stock for stock, but if you tune the TTRS, it’s a whole different story. Send me a pic of that lotus build on IG. And IDK if I would call it a bargain, but it’s definitely an interesting car. Thanks for the comment bro.

Turbo Mike, I’m lucky enough to have a GT 63. I had it tuned with a Renntech Stage 1- it now makes 788 bhp. I didn’t change the down pipes (wife’s not keen on the noise), but it is freaking fast at almost 800hp. What a joy 👍

I was kind of conflicted too when they announced the 4 door GT. It's a little bizzare looking, much like the CLS63 was. And i'm not sure who would pay almost 200 grand for something like that. But now that uou mention the Panamera Turbo and M760, that sort of makes sense. It's like a re-birth of the super sedan segment.

i had one and sold it to go to porsche pan. I found it super fast and nice and loud, but if you drive on english b roads it is a nightmare - very stiff ride - nowhere near an s class. terrilbe tyre scuttle at v low speeds. Also under extreme acceleration ( not just in a staright line - but over undulating surfaces) it doesnt feel as safe as others- sure the tech takes control. Turbo lag also a reality, inside - glitzy, but actually not great materials that well put together (centre v8 consel creaked and moved) compaired to the porsche turbo s ehyrib. Feels just as fast - faster on real roads i would say, it also makes me realize what a good driving car really feels like. As always depends what you want from a car - id way rather drive through europe in the porsche than merc, definately rather go up mountain passes in the porsche. I got 13 mpg form the merc - clealry my terrible driving being wrosened by desire to chaneg gears - due to nice noise and keep in a high gear to avoid turbo lag. But i get 27 mpg in the turbo s (electric encourages you to relax more, but v8 still wants you to push to as does handling - but im not going up and down the 9 speed as much as lags not as bad due to elctric motor) - so way less going to the garage to fill up. On the track and in a drag race (but why have 4 doors for those?) - no idea as ive never particapted in those, as id guess havnt quite a few. as an everyday super car you can take 4 people in real comfort across all roads terrrains this isnt it. Porsche by several leagues better in my experience. in hindsight merc and amg need to refine this if they want to compete with the panerma.

It is a beautiful car but is it worth $40,000+ more than an E63s-it basically has the exact same performance as an E63s-as a matter of fact some tests have the E63s pulling faster times up to 130mph. Its only benefit over an E63s is the 4-wheel steering which allows it to better the E63s on the Nurburgring by a pretty big margin. The E63s is also much more comfortable and properly optioned offers the same luscious quality. In my opinion the GT 63s 4 door and the E63s offer a higher level of quality and exclusivity than an M5/M8 but the problem with both the GT 4 door and the E63s is that they are not as tunable as an F90 M5/M8. Mercedes has made cracking the cpu/ecu/tcu very difficult. Ask Chris Harris which 4 door super saloon he would buy. Its not the M5.
