Nice film. Thank you. Love those cool cars. The real murderer, John Wayne Wilson, reportedly was polite and asked to put on his shoes when arrested. Roseann M. Quinn was the namesake of her mother, Roseann Quinn. What a horrific way to die. Rest in precious and powerful peace, Rosie.

Why can't they make an accurate film about the Roseann Quinn murder without invented names and hokey subplots?
@nomiddlenamenmn4273 жыл бұрын
I’m not for certain, but the surviving Quinn family members and friends have not publicly talked. They would likely have grounds to sue even after 1973?
@Persephonie22 Жыл бұрын
I think its because they didn't have the family members & friends of Rosann Quinn. Majority of the times that happens in the movies of real cases. For instance, Lifetime channel is big on that.
@spinrash6000 Жыл бұрын
It’s Disgusting that they centre the storyline around the detective and his family at first. I honestly thought it was for his daughter that was killed the victim story need to be told by the family and her close friends rest in peace, dear lady.

@WarpedRecord8 жыл бұрын
Thanks for posting. This is a very entertaining film regardless of the liberties it takes with the truth and the title. The reason for the confusion over the original case and the 1977 film it inspired is the fact that "Goodbar" applies to the fictional film, not the original case.
@April_in_CT8 жыл бұрын
It's not an official sequel. But it is a sequel nonetheless in that it's a continuation of the same real life case.

I'm trying to watch a movie and it doesn't even help that this is an old one with cast in large part deceased by now, slightly different times 40 years ago, but I cannot help thinking about reality. In reality they don't go after thugs they pick on victims. The same with all those tv series about doctors - they do not give a damn about patients, they go through routine stuff, less than that if something is not covered, they tell people with sick pleasure that they cannot help and someone is going to die soon, they do not go through remorse when they misdiagnose or maltreat a patient. Now, when I'm more aware than ever of how this world really looks like even mindless ephemeral pleasure from watching movies is taken from me. Bummer.
