Tracker Mini - 12 Track USB Audio Setup w/Ableton Live and Bitwig

Tracker Mini will send audio via USB to 12 stereo tracks in any DAW. Here we display how to get this running in Ableton Live and Bitwig.

Isnt it faster to export/import your stems to daw. I see it as a nice to have but nothing more 👊 og tracker ❤

​@@JohnAlchemyyou can only export to SD, then pop the card out and put it in the computer and drag them out so no it's not faster than just hitting record. You can also sync tempo to your daw so if you change tempo later you don't have to export a new version.

Any chance you guys are considering hardware upgrades for the OG Tracker? Like you do with the Play+ ? And get these on upgrades: USB Audio, a MASSIVE sample memory, all the Synths of the Play+, perhaps an extra Headphone jack? No need to officially release a "Tracker+" Maybe just as an Upgrade option for anyone willing to pay... like me! And those who DO upgrade get a new Faceplate with custom art?... just brainstorming... and daydreaming

Why does Ableton need the Tracker as audio output? Surely you only need it as input for recording, so you can monitor via your preferred device...

True, but then you can make music, perform with the perform mode and monitor everything inside the unit.

It is not possible due to hw limitations. The Mini has a much more powerful chip.

The Polyend play is where it’s really at. You can do all the tracker stuff in a DAW like Renoise. With the Play you can let the algorithm generate beats for you and put together a song in like 5 minutes flat. It’s awesome.

It does but usually within 1-3 minutes the sound will distort sadly. I upgraded specifically for the USB audio to be used in AUM and in Bitwig. Currently I cant seem to connect to Bitwig and AUM has the sound issue... Polyend does state in the description this is not compatible with iOS though...

first of all, thanks for the answer. I was afraid of it. I bought the Tracker a couple of years ago and I love this machine, Performance mode is fantastic, but only 2 lines output, from my side, is a lack. @@Polyend

Yeah all those features are nice but I still prefer my old mk1 because of the size and keyboard and ‘DATA WHEEL’ !! Mini seems difficult to use while i crunch my fingers all together :( hopefully there is MK2 coming so that it will have some more option liks this in future :)
