Finally a NORMAL person who understands! Im happy you got your boat. Im so tired of people who complain about the $250, complain about the 10%, etc... IT'S A TOY! Plus being the "walmart" of boats(not saying that in a negative way, but people go to bass pro for everything and youre not generally going to a powersports dealer to browse) every one and their brother would stroke (waste their time) salespeople without the $250 requirement. it makes you invest in the process an easy way to make sure you are serious and yes its credited to you so who cares. Congrats!

Thanks for the video! I needed this. I myself put in a application for credit and am awaiting decision. I don’t have bad credit, however I purchased a 200,000 dollar house 2 years ago, as well as financed a 2018 f150 for me and a 2018 explorer for my wife this year alone. I’m concerned of approval just because of the amount of hits I’ve taken on the hard pulls.... I’m curious. You mentioned that you received your approval the same day you received your rejection letter? Could you clarify how that happened? I’m considering taking my quote to my bank, which is a credit union , to inquire on if they would finance me but again it would hit my credit as another hard pull.... uhhh the wait is killing me!!! I would be devastated if I were to be denied... I’ve literally been waiting to buy a boat for more than 15 years and now that I’m ready, it would suck if they say no...

When I bought my Tracker, I told the salesman, I was going to pay, cash for the boat in full, right now, today. I thought he would be excited right?...Easy sale, no worrying if I had good credit or if the sale would go through?..no, he seemed rather disappointed which is when I realized that they WANT you to finance so they make extra money, it's not about selling a product, it's about getting you in debt.

Just got me a 2018 Tracker Pro 195TXW with a Merc 150 and the monthly payment is awesome 😎

Daniel Walker thinking about your boat. How much are ur payments?
@danielwalker59856 жыл бұрын
WillWork2 FISH $240. The 175 is also a nice boat. The 40th anniversary boat for $9,999 is also a sweet boat. Payments on that would’ve been around $100.00.

WillWork2 FISH that’s also with no money down. They gave me a $750 gift card and some VIP program they have.

Have you posted any videos of your new boat?? I'm doing my due diligence and research! The 190TX and 195TXW are tops on my list! Hard to find owner videos.

Cool video, thanks for all the info. I subbed. So did you get eventually financed through bass pro, or did you have to seek out your own financing? Thanks!

I’d went with a express 19’ that comes with a Yamaha 200 V max

How much was just the financing on top of the tag price?
@theyeomanhomesteader26066 жыл бұрын
Dario Ortiz - If I took the full 10 years to pay off the loan, it would be nearly another 50%. So, I would recommend shopping around for a better rate and shorter term if your budget allows.

The Yeoman Homesteader The boat I'm thinking of buying isn't too expensive but I know that after financing it's going to go up but I don't know how much. The rate is 5.99% boat is only going for 10k. Is there prepayment penalties? I plan on paying it off within the first year or so.

Dario Ortiz If you use Bass Pro's in-house financing, there are no penalties for paying off early.

Wait a cosigner is required? Why?
@theyeomanhomesteader26066 жыл бұрын
I didn't need one. It depends on your credit rating and the lender.

I’m not going to lie this was kind of discouraging you say you have good credit and still had to jump through hoops lol I want the new 40th anniversary model but have shit credit still from the 09 crash just cause I pay cash for everything and never reestablish my credit but I do have half down and still feel like I’m wasting my time lol.

Billyboy don't feel discouraged. I just went threw the same thing 3 weeks ago.. I have alright credit and I got approved they also look at how much money is coming in vs. Going out.. I got approved for a nitro z18 with 10% down. I will tell u tho go threw a credit union bank their the best don't finance threw them. My interest rate threw them was 14% I said he'll no and went to my bank and got a 6% interest..

Jadiel 254 went and got my own loan but was to late,they sold out.ended up going with a 2008 tracker v16 pro angler. I had 10k to play with so after I got the boat i then added 2 helix 9s and a new trolling motor with I pilot. I went and looked at some used bass boats and it turns out I’m just not a bass boat guy. I live on the ca delta and the water is pretty choppy most of the year. I like to do a lot of trolling as well as bass fishing and bass boats just don’t troll that great,the rides real uncomfortable and the gunnels are too shallow for me on these waters. I even had enough left for a season pass at the boat launch.All and all I’m very happy with what I got

The really smart guys buy used 2-4 years old barely used boats with a survey. Then those who have saved up can pay cash. It is just a toy. Payments keep people poor or middle class. Just my take.
