Great video, Marie! It was fun to watch my analogue version turned into a Notion version. I'm going to implement this myself and update it weekly so I have a running tally of my paper journal throughout the year.

Hi Marie! I've been slowly making a mashup of this template (Goals + Practices) and the Plan Your Year (PYY) template that I purchased (I kept pure "template versions" so if I make a mistake, I can problem solve or get back to the original with some ease). I'm playing with incorporating "Practices" into the PYY Goals. My current roadblock is deciding if the Practice progress will just automatically update in Goals (so only one potential manual entry) and how exactly to do that. It's been a fun puzzle! (I think the answer will reveal itself with use and practice - no pun intended 😆) Thank you for the resources you share and sell. My doctor and I appreciate how much better I am now at tracking my chronic illness condition and my business & productivity are beginning to show signs of improvement since shifting my mindset and tools with your tutorials and templates. Thank you, again!

I have been using the yearly planning templates that you have shared last time around. Just wanted to check how to integrate the goals and practices provided now into the planning templates shared earlier . Very much interested in integrating the goals and practices into the weekly view of my planning templates as I feel it will be more effective in monthly, quartely and yearly reviews. I'm wondering what is the main difference in Practices and Milestones? basically they both related to Goals completion and both have actions to do. could they be replaced with one another or not, how do you think? it's little bit too complicated with all this stuff - Goals, Milestones, Projects, Vision, Commitments, Values and now Practices🤯 or maybe, Practices are similar to Commitments? just trying to make everything clear:) thank you!
@MariePoulin3 жыл бұрын
Milestones are a 1-time event/metric that you hit, practices are activities you do in a regular fashion in support of a Goal. I include both milestones and practices in the same database and just have a dropdown called "type", with options for "practice" and "milestone". You could separate these out if that's more helpful for you. Values don't change, they are enduring. Wherever you find it getting too complicated, just simplify - that's why in this video I distilled it down to the most important components: Goal (what you want) and Practices (how you're going to get there with regular actions). Milestones are the "when"/signs you're making progress... but that's getting more into project management, a separate topic altogether :)

Hi everyone, I have a quick notion question that I hope someone can help me with. I have this workshop/training tracker that I use to make notes on all of the trainings I get to attend. I have a little template that I use to add new agenda points, e.g. I will click on the button 'add a new agenda point' and then make notes on that point in the template. Unfortunately, the blocks always appear on top of each other, so that I have the order of "agenda point 3, agenda point 2, agenda point 1" instead of "1, 2, 3". Does anyone know how I can change this, so that the new block appears underneath the already existing one after clicking the template button? Hope this makes sense, sorry, I'm not a native speaker.. Thank you :)
