Mushroom Beef(Venison) Spaghetti Sauce
1 pound ground meat
mushrooms - fresh or canned
1 small onion, diced
29 oz. can whole tomatoes, undrained, cut-up
12 oz. tomato paste
8 oz. tomato sauce
1 c. beef broth
2 T. dried parsley
1 T. brown sugar
1 tsp. each basil, oregano, salt, minced garlic
1\4 tsp. pepper
Brown meat with mushrooms and onions. Place in crock pot with remaining ingredients. I use whatever tomato product I have on hand to equal the 49 oz. the recipe calls for. Slow cook on low for 6-8 hours. Using a liner makes clean up much easier. amzn.to/3ScZcJw

I have a New Year's phrase....Believe in miracles and spread the word! My husband has been out of work for the last year and we are facing eviction. I prayed constantly and paid close attention to the words I was using, especially those of the Memorare. Three weeks ago he was employed by a friend who told him that he would have work for the rest of his life and a great salary. On a lighter note, I've resolved to not worry so much. It's hard to do, but there's very little I can control in the world other than my own thoughts and actions. The side benefit is a more peaceful day and better sleep at night. God Bless you and yours. When I do a Big Mac casserole or salad, I make a dressing with 1/4c. Mayo, 1 T. Ketchup, 1 tsp. Mustard, and 1-2 T. Finely chopped dill pickles with the pickle juice. If I use a sugar free ketchup, the carbs are minimal.

That was another fun video, thank you for sharing these snippets of your life with us Jennifer. Maria's dress is so beautiful! You might consider taking it to a local dry cleaner for them to steam and press...I do that when an important garment really needs to look fabulous. Loved the comment about the Barbie Forest...how accurate. On pretty little stands of trees like that does Warren have to eventually go back and thin them as they get older? Your recipes all looked delicious and I'll go back to my cookbook to make a note about the pickles, thank you. Great reminder on the cauliflower for low-carbing. I'm the only who eats it here and it is hard to get through a whole head by myself so I forget about it too often. Have a blessed weekend and hope you all keep warm and don't lose power.

Loved Maria's dress, such a hard age to get right they can either look silly in a little girls dress or way older in a teen dress, that look just right. My mum wipped up net petticoats for flower girls from netting on a tie waist band work really well and they could remove them later on in the wedding.

What's cool about the mix pics too is its good for renting so you don't have to put nail holes in the wall but can still decorate. I bet you could even do art prints instead of photos.

The stories of the frozen items not being put in the freezer is funny 😂 . We freeze our loaves of bread and I found produce at the bottom of a bag with the bread once 😳. Maria’s dress for the wedding is beautiful 💕

I mostly eat low carb and use to make zoodles until I found palmini noodles. Sometimes our stores have them or sometimes I have to order. They make a "rice" and lasagna noodle too. I enjoy them more then more veggies sometimes

Aldi has hearts of palm "pasta" its super low carb and very good. It comes in a pouch, just make sure you rinse it well and squeeze it dry.

I write in my cookbooks and if there is a recipe that is never to be made again i put a big X thru the whole recipe! Best ones have v v good on them.. If i share a recipe i like to include the name of the person i got the recipe from . It would be so great if someone recognized the name ( since this is a small world). So to Doris Ell who gave a twelve year old girl her recipe for Spiced Beet Pickles I say thank you.

@@acountrylife it was light pinkish in color so maybe like a white chocolate? I'm not sure. I could taste both cranberry and I guess it would've been chocolate but, not overbearing. It had small bits of cranberries and walnuts throughout. It was divine!

I’m behind on the stuff looking at. I do a mixture of high carb and low-carb days Monday through Thursday low-carb Friday Saturday and Sunday higher carbs but I can go low on them days too. That way if I want to go out to eat one or two of the days on the weekend I don’t feel as guilty.and I’m still losing weight

My husband picked up a box of fudgesicles when we grocery shopped. A couple of days later he went to the freezer to get one. He was not happy because we'd eaten them all. I tried telling him I'd not had one and the kids kept saying they hadn't either. A week later he found them in the pantry in a paper bag. It happens! LOL

If you see lip gloss or lip stick in a plain white wrapper at DT and you read the bottom of the tube it is usually name brand! I have gotten several Revlon and Maybelline lip sticks from there for$1.25 Thanks for sharing!
