This guy has absolutely the best tropical weather coverage. Very professional analysis. We need a more rational discourse. I will be following him for all tropical forecasts from now on. 13news please keep his feed coming to the social media sites, as not many people are staying on cable. Place advertising if you need some funding. Our society deserves his attention to detail and analysis complemented by his rational approach to weather without scaring the population.

Good luck. I live through Hurricane Andrew back in 1992. I was 12 years old. Andrew was underestimated. When Andrew hit us, the storm was a category 5. We were without power for over 4 months in Miami others in South Miami, Kendall and Homestead were devastated by Andrew for years and years. It was so bad. It was horrible without no a/c and everyday it was over 90° temperature EVERYDAY AND NIGHT. Sorry for the Caps. But this is bad. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Now living in Connecticut. But I still have very close family in South Florida like my parents. I'm here trying to send them money to buy supplies. The stores are going to be Packed. Crazy Lines, shortage on Food, Water and Medicine. More lines at the Gas Station. You got to remember Harvey hit Texas where we get gas. Imagine hurricane Irma the prices for gas will be going through the roof in Florida. I remember waiting in line for gas with my family, remember I was 12 waiting for over 5 hours just for gas. The lines were Ridiculous. I'm just trying to give a piece of my memories. Just thinking about it brings me back memories, Horrible memories. So to you sir please take care, stay safe, watch your back because the Looting is going to be crazy. So I hope you do have a Gun in hand. Because your gonna need it. Stop the hate around the world, help each other, love they neighbor. You're going to need a lot of help after the storm. Good Luck stay safe and may God be on your side.

As an American working/living in the Dominican Republic, I am appreciative of the in-depth reporting, not just the focus on when it will "hit the US." No need to waste time praying to make believe mythical nonsense. It is modern technology, not any magical wizards that are tracking these storms. In a few days we will know better thanks to modern technology where the storm will most likely hit and then take preparations or evacuate. Those who pray and ride it out and not heed the warnings it is on you whatever bad happens to you and your family.

He makes it simple to get a grasp on what is happening. He should be scooped up by FOX, not only is he very weather savvy he has the good looks and cool personality for it. Hire him Ruppert!! He does remind me of Watters World on Fox a LOT! Which is a good thing!
