Remember, the surge is SALT water. Take steps to remove any rechargeable batteries from getting into salt water, or move them at least 50' from your home. EV cars, golf carts, power tool batteries, computers, children's toys or books with button batteries, anything that can short out and cause a fire. On north Captiva after Ian, the golf course lost their entire fleet of golf carts to fire. Our fire Marshall for Lee County now sends out battery warnings on the emergency paging system.
