😱 TRACKS that are NEVER used in the DAILIES.. Aswell as a CRACKING Race!! || Gran Turismo 7

I found it quite crazy we having a duplicate combo within a Month this week... Yamagiwa and Gr.4. While the race is good it baffles me why we aren't using other tracks in the game so enjoy a fantastic race followed by some data and a discussion!

Well said, loads of negative feedback lately about the dailies. This is a decent week but overall sport mode is at a long (all?) time low imo, so I really hope something comes of all this.

I've said it before on this channel and I'll say it again. St. Croix B is one of the best tracks on the course. It is fast. It has a couple of big braking zones that promote overtakes. And it has and absolutely incredible flow. That last sector through the quick S-curve, then dropping down that little hill at the end of it. Amazing.

This is absolutely on point, and I'm also wondering why they gave up on Daily Race A. It's mostly been a road car race with no DR/SR update for ages. The majority of cars in Gran Turismo is road cars. But PD doesn't seem to think they count. Most people playing online can only get used to the boring Gr4/3/2/1 cars with BOP and that's it. Where's the diversity regarding the use of different cars? Give us ranked races with road cars (or not "Gr" cars) more than once or twice a year! Not only do they get the track selection wrong, but the car selection is even worse. My only hope is that they are using a lot more cars for online time trials. It feels like two different vibes, with daily races being as boring as possible, and time trials being more interesting.

I agree and I'd also argue that its easier to drive clean in road car out sheer necessity as you know as soon as you hit someone else, you are out of the race as road ca are so easy to lose.

Completely agree with the sentiment. PD don’t have a “racer” in charge of making these selections. Even random selections wouldn’t be so biased. There may be more to it that we don’t know but it is very weird to have these tracks (and many cars) and have no use. I love the game and play it very regular but would play it more if there was more variety. Arguably the best racing game but could be legendary with a few very small changes. Excellent content. 👍🏼👍🏼

Dude I love getting my bros together and running Gr.3 at High Speed Ring. Unfortunately, we always get called cheaters because of the internet ping issues in GT7. They always think we are wall-riding but we just like running the high line in turn 2. Even when we turn on wall collision penalties and get 0 penalties, they still accuse us of it.

Some friends of mine had a race at the long St Croix track Sunday night and it was a blast. The high speed sweeping turns are incredible. Especially in VR

It has been used only once in GT7 and with Gr3 as well and it was indeed an absolute banger. This layout flows so well once you get used to it.

Gr.1 @ Sainte-Croix C II would be mega in my opinion: long straights and heavy braking zones + fast turns is amazing.

Nordschleife is the funny one - combined, Nurburgring Nords/Endurance/24h have had 3 daily races... and 8 Manufacturers Cup races. It's like they want to reserve it for the serious players.

I think they limit the use of the longer tracks as people quit those races more often which really depletes the on track race aspect and makes them more like a group TT. With smaller tracks, they are easier for people to learn so the mistakes aren't as magnified and as a result you end up with more wheel to wheel racing. I think what sport has always needed is a fourth endurance category for like 45+ minute races. That Race D slot could then be used to host the longer tracks over many laps. Its why The Ring sees so much more action during the Manu Cups vs dailies. With the short races it does seem like wall riding is simply the reason why they have avoided those rather than fixing the issue.

at this point you wonder how much production has moved on to GT8. i’d suspect at least over 50% at this point. i’d like to think that the dailies (tracks) are picked at random and they put in a list of tracks in the game and use a random number generator towards an arraylist to pick the tracks….except for the 28 tracks that have never been picked, and the 18 that have been used once, and now taken out of that list. the cars is a whole another discussion-anytime it’s a road car, most of the time it’s a car that’s already been picked or one of the new cars added in the game.

As much as I criticise T10 (rightfully so) for their failures in the new FM game at least the MP track variety/selection is good. 5 tracks per lobby with different weather conditions in each one. Now we have the endurance races to go with the short and medium length ones, which means we can now race at the Nordschleife. Still plenty of other things that were either bad design choices (SP career) or are simply still broken (FRR penalties) but it's not all bad.

Big problem with this situation is a lot of the overly vocal people in GT7 have a real thing about only liking certaim tracks and combos. Big reason last week had lower participation was the people brainwashed into thinking road cars aren't good racing. Lots of people complain about little used tracks and not wanting to use them, but after digging it's usually because they don't know the tracks. At the same time they'll call you rubbish if you haven't learned their favorites. More variety makes the repeated combos feel a lot more fresh and will have people jumping in online more

I've always said Gran Turismo is like a gigantic amusement park... Only, every time you go all but a few of the rides are closed. Seems like there would have, at least by now, a daily race for every track or category of racing. I don't get it, what a waste!!!

Massive issue. And pd doesn't care. I started a new profile to do online races with and have to get to a certain level first. And I have to say the single player progression is so linear and boring. No freedom at all to go about it the way you want in cars you want to drive. I hate to see what gt8 is going to be like. Because gt7 is actually like a free to play game that has great graphics.

Bro have you ever did circuit experience at any Tokyo express? Trust me they can stop wall riders. You barely touch the wall it will fail you. Sometimes I don’t think I even touched the wall. Poor tidgney thinks they actually put thought into daily races. PD HAS NEVER PUT ANY THOUGHT OR CARE/TEST ANY DAILY RACE! They run one and if something is really bad they get tons of complaints and then only then will they add a little extra tire wear or tire selection etc. I quit playing sport mode a long time ago. I race in racing league’s & against friends. The level of fun isn’t even close.
