However, I have zero regret when it came to purchasing the Eliots as I have spent way more on lifestyle-oriented shoes. I received my pair this afternoon and they are absolutely beautiful...super clean with impeccable fit and finish. For those interested, I would say these are just a tiny smidge longer than TTS. Those who prefer race-thin socks may prefer a half-size down. With that said, I agree with @kofuzi that the slightly extra length is great for the inevitable foot/toe swelling.

@Martha-fluterunner2 жыл бұрын
@Ivan Leong: No! 😮not the same. The clothing company known as “rabbit” is officially runinrabbit, lower case intended. They just both happen to have rabbit logos, though different. The Tracksmith logo is technically a hare. The runinrabbit logo is more of a cute bunny. Then there used to be Jackrabbit sports which also had a more abstract cursive rabbit logo, but now that they’ve been purchased by Fleet Feet, that is destined to disappear. It’s no coincidence there are a lot of rabbit themes and logos in running companies. Not just because rabbits run fast, but because rabbit is a term for a race pacer used by pros.

@@kofuzi Common thing I see from KZbinrs that love certain brands or that work with them. 1. Will try to find very little to dislike about the item in order to keep getting free stuff from them or to continue to work with them. The trick is to find at least one negative so it appears you are not promoting the item. 2. Getting free overpriced items to review and then saying the item is worth it even though they would not go out to buy it themselves when there is a better cheaper alternative available.
@cameronthaijohnson2 жыл бұрын
@@kofuzi Yeah you could argue that the carbon plated racers that you may not use as much or last as long isn't worth that extra amount relative to a daily trainer that you will be using all the time and get a lot of miles out of, but it is inarguable that the comparable sort of classic daily trainers do often run around $120 starting and often go for far less. But yeah obviously if you get this one, you are paying in part for the aesthetic/design/brand.
