So glad that you have been able to get your hands on this scope. I have had one for the last 6 months and I know that it really is that good. Not shown in your test but the quality of the glass and the amount of light that gets through is unreal. I can't see the numbers on the dials in low light but I can see a target at 100m. Shipping and taxes cost me on top but it was well worth it.

Ok thanks again Joe for the honest reviews. So after watching your review I did more research and bought this scope. I second everything you claim about this. Hell, it’s so rock solid I could drive tent stakes with it if need be. This thing is amazing, I’m donating to your channel because of all the great info you put out there especially about brands I’ve never even heard of. And I figure you’ve saved me money because I was about this close to buying a Leupold for around $2000. If I had just seen this Tract I would have expected a much heftier price tag. Joe I found you about six or eight months ago and I’ve really enjoyed and appreciated your expert and candid reviews, (and your sense of humor, you’re a hoot). I’m not a hunter, nor do I shoot competitively but what I have is critters who like to get into my attic. A year or more ago I purchased an inexpensive, (under $100), Crosman break barrel, piston air rifle. I spent hours trying to sight in the cheap scope on the cheap rifle but as you might imagine, I haven’t had much success. In fact, in one of your videos, you named my scope, (Center Point), as “the biggest POS scope in the world”, and you’re absolutely right. The rifle seems fine, my issue seems to be with the scope. I’d really appreciate any advice you could give me on whether I need a better brand of scope, (my budget is about $300), or maybe a red dot, (or a shotgun 😉. I have a fairly small yard so I’ll never shoot at anything more than about 25 yds away. Thank you for any suggestions you might have.

Mike one of my all time favorite scopes is the Leupold 3-9 efr. It’s is literally crystal clear and indestructible . For less coin the Bushnell AR series is also a killer buy !

I just put one of these Tract Scopes on my FX Crown...Incredible scope for the money. I literally had it right next to a Leupold and did a side by side comparison and this scope won out, the optic was actually better than the VX series LP. The only knock I have which is nothing is you really have to buy their rings, unless you aren't fussy at all. They cerakote their scopes in Sniper Grey rather than a matte black like most scope makers so the different colors look odd. I had my rings sprayed for $65. Overall great optic for the money. Mine was just under $800 and it performs like a higher priced scope.

This bezel, has 0.1 on the towers, this model is the best to regulate at different points of impact, without having to use the Mil dot? mine is not a very good scope, it is low value, and it is 1/4 MOA, it can be used in different impact points, clicking like you did, without having to use Mil Dot? It's hard to say . Not the 3500 dollar Nightforce. But the Nightforce I had that cost $1400 . Yes this is better to my eye . I know NF is built in tracking and durability. But my last one ( been about 6 years back ) the glass was WAY sub par for tits price

Hey Joe .. Putting in a request. Sightron SIII was a much recommended scope for many years. Was kinda wondering about quality lighter weight scopes, affordable is always good.. Say for a rifle you stalked with all day. Scope is the Sightron SI 4-12 x 40 Mil-Dot . .. They're under $200. Leoupold never has good reticles .. usually plain X's and it's maddening. Some wind help should be standard.

Now what you should do is sponsor Athlon the Aires ELR THEN YOU GOT A SCOPE SO WORTH IT. Just recieved my first Tract optic the Toric 4-20x50 FFP MOA. Never took it outside the windage turret was wobbly even when locked down especially compared to the feel of the elevation for comparison. Put it back in the box and reached out through the chat. No problem on returning scope. Still disappointing I had high hopes for this brand. The search continues for a new scope brand for my 300 WSM.

Just be careful if ya pick one up for a hunting rifle. It says it's a rim fire scope. Not sure if it would hold up for larger calibers 😬

@@CyclopsJoeVideos Yeah it certainly is nice and I most probably would have bought one or even another model of the Tract scopes if they focused down to 10 yards, though unfortunately after searching the Tract website, I can't find one Tract scope that does focus down to 10 yards.

@@CyclopsJoeVideos I see, thats fair enough. But it gives an impression that every scope you review performs similarly. For example, if there was a reference point, it would have been much easier to understand how good or bad is that scope compared to that reference point. This would allow us (users) to decide if a particular scope worth spending more or not.

I got ya . I try and base.my reviews on their value for the dollar . I turn down scopes that I already know has issues ( Hawke high end scopes , UTG , BSA , Centerpoint , Monstrum , Clearidge , and others ) I've owned and tested several models from each and they all fell short . My average scope review I have about 12-20 hours in . I don't want to waste my time or yours on junk 🍻

@@CyclopsJoeVideos A simpler solution would be having a reference score for each feature E.g. Optical reference scores (you can break down it to subsections if you like, such as edge to edge, resolution, contrast vs) 100 for Tangent Theta, 80 IOR Recon, 70 PM2, 60 Delta Stryker, 50 Vortex PST Gen2, 40 Athlon Ares BTR, 30 Bushnell Elite 4200, 20 Vortex Diamond back tactical vs vs. Same for other fields as well such as tracking, features etc.. So when you review a new scope you can give it a performance values and we will know where it stands in the spectrum. Most importantly, thanks for investing so much time in these videos.
