I've had a YM1500 for years. I've always found that it runs out of traction way before it runs out of power. I've used it to drag some pretty good sized trees over the years. For the really heavy trees, I put a good bit of weight on the three point, usually my box blades, and then hook the strap straight to my draw bar. I made an attachment for the three point that turns it into a regular hitch receiver so I can move trailers around. I was shopping around for a boom attachment to attach a log grapple to, and the prices turned me off. For about $40 worth of steel a few welding rods, I made my own boom that attaches to the mount for the trailer hitch receiver I'd already made. It works pretty well, and when I lift a log with it, it puts enough weight on the back end that I don't lose traction. This is a little off topic, but I also built a front end loader for it about six years ago and it's never let me down. It's a tough little tractor. I could get more work done with a larger tractor, but I can't complain about what this one can do for its size. It handles a five foot finish mower and a four foot brush hog with no problems. I really enjoyed this series of videos that you made. Thank you for taking the time to record, edit, and post these.

I have a 55hp UTB 4 cylinder 4x4… nice to see the little 2 cylinders pull their weight. 💪 Heed the other guys’ warning, though… try and pull below the axle line. Or get weights for the front bumper. I have 350lbs on my front bumper.

Here’s a PSA for someone unsuspecting: if you pull from above the centerline of your rear axle, you may lift your front tires off the ground. If your load doesn’t move, you could end up flipping your tractor on yourself. Seriously, it can happen.

I just did a head gasket replacement on my YM2220D. It's about unstoppable. Currently waiting for some new hydraulic seals for the front end loader. Great tractors! Is that the Harbor freight three point hitch?

Nice! They are unstopable. No, I got it on Amazon. Been lookin for a front end loader for mine. The ball hitch is from Harbor Freight though.

For God's sake be careful. It looks like you are keeping your foot over the clutch. When a log but digs in, that front will come up faster than a snake bite!!! I cut up an old water pressure tank to slip over but ends up to 16", it still can grab. I see pros with nice plastic units. I did not see a dif lock. Split breaks are cool. Power steering.

I am careful! The clutch is adjusted properly. I have had the front end come up before. The second I've felt the front lift I press the clutch.
