Nice setup!

+Bob Stubs It's a pretty nice machine. I like it other than the hydrostatic transmission whine.

neat tree shrub scoop. I should build me one of those.

+daveknowshow It's pretty handy! They are commercially available but the round bottom ones are kinda expensive so had my own made.

I know the backhoe is fun and all but wouldn't it have made a better match of a hole to dig it with the tree scoop? Thanks for sharing.

+CaptainPetrolburner You could dig the hole with the scoop. It's not as precise as the backhoe though. You have to realize also in the video I only had about 30 mins operating this backhoe. So I'm a little slow. I'm used to excavators which use joysticks so the hydraulic levers on a backhoe take some getting used too. Haha

Please discuss your opinion of the L2501 vs 3301 more :) oh and the B2650 as I am considering one of the three. 😀
@ProjectKing7 жыл бұрын
+Petertutinski I found the L2501 to be very loud (engine exhaust) and exhaust smell was very obnoxious. Smelled like an old Ford diesel pickup. Real oily Diesel smell that would about choke you. I have run many Kubota machines and never smelled one like that. I like that the L2501 does not have emission controls on it but I couldn't deal with loud exhaust note and smell. I got the L3301 because it runs quieter. It has dpf emission system on it. The B2650 is a nice tractor. Uses same backhoe as L2501 and L3301. But it's a lighter weight tractor and not as comfortable in my opinion for big people. B2650 can be equipped with center PTO for mid mount mower. L2501, etc cannot.

What is the attachment you used to dig up the rose bush? I really need one.

+Randy Smith It's a tree scoop. Mine is custom made but there's commercially available ones on the market.
