Good video, I want to do the same thing with the vise on that same Husky tool box, the question is if it can't be put more towards the corner of the tool box, so that it is closer to the edge?

I bought a used DX8 that was in Spanish. Looked everywhere for how to change the spoken language. Glad your video stayed up this long. Now i can understand my DX8 speech. Thanks.

It's a shame those cultivator tines on the side don't really bite into the ground. If they did they could bust up the compaction from your tires a bit while you're at it.
@ProjectKing
@ProjectKing 6 ай бұрын
That’s a good point. I need to adjust so they dig in…. May need to add new points
@EthanPDobbins
@EthanPDobbins 6 ай бұрын
@@ProjectKing I just built a set yesterday and used them on my taters. I've got some of those cultivator tines and I'm going to add them to it eventually. Looks like I'll need longer/wider sweep points and/or to add some material onto the bottom of the frame to attach them too so they sit a little lower. I think wider shovels on the tips would help bust up where the tires ran a little better than the plain cultivator points but i may just use the points I've already got
@EthanPDobbins
@EthanPDobbins 5 ай бұрын
Got the tines added to the one I built. Had to add a piece of 2 inch square pipe on the underside to mount them in to make them go deep enough to bite into the soil. Gonna get some 6-9 inch wide cultivator sweeps I think to really make it do a good job but I welded a couple pieces of worn out tiller tine onto each side of the standard narrow points to give it wings on each point and it works pretty good in plowed ground. Doesn't do as good when it's dry like it has been but not much does very good when you only get an inch and a half of rain all june.

I just bought a ALH4240 and it didn’t have an water inlet screen. Did yours come with one? Called Simpson and they basically stated if it didn’t come with one you don’t need one. I’m seriously thinking of buying one to put on it anyway. Thx!

Another good idea is to let some water flow through the hose before connecting to pressure washer. Cant tell you how many times Ive turned on a customers water and all the rust etc comes flying out the hose.

spindles covers are to protect the spindles - not your fingers - they should be on all the time yu are mowing so as to keep out Debre from entering the holes in the spindles and stuff getting into the belt where it goes into the spindles and causing damage - small stones - wood - weeds - all Dedre is damaging --- and clean out each time afterwards - but to each their own - and just a file on the blades is all that is needed - it makes the blades last much longer and keep their balance longer also - i was raised on a farm - and have lived on a working farm for more than 40 years now - with all kinds of machines - i started back when Farmall 140s with woods mowers were the mowers of the real men -- ahahahahahaha -- pretty orange color when they are newish I see - my ZD 25 has had lots of mowing done from it - I only use grinders on my 6 foot and 10 foot Bushhog mowers -- not on my 2 woods mowers even - blades are too small for such heat and force to be used on blades that little - yu seem to have done a good job on taking just a little off though -- dealers use only files - some use a bench grinder - which is said not to be good either - balance being the goal -- as they wear - yu will see -- the blade yu used did not even really need sharping - but perfection is sometimes a good thing - ahahahahahahaha -- all the ZDs look the same inside -- I use mine on grass that can be 12 - 15in tall at times at my pond -- ahahahahahaha

I’m not sure. I think it would work fairly well if you have good tires with plenty of knobbies for snow. It will certainly plow going down hill!! Lol

Those AA batteries go dead so quick. I use them until they hit around 1.3 volts. After that, the amperage usually suffers and I'm unable to steer effectively and accelerate. I really need a hump pack and a charger so I don't waste anymore $$$ on that junk

Don't forget to set the throttle cut on your H switch on the bottom right front of your transmitter. It keeps you from getting your fingers cut, if you hit the throttle or almost run it off your table, (or into something) like your video. Lol Been there, dune that. The bigger the motor, the greater your chance of acquiring stitches. Liked the video.
