Thank you for showing us this one, and sorry about your friend. My 80+ yr old uncle flipped tractor much like this, but without the full cab, onto him himself several years ago. He was pinned with his arm against the manifold, for almost 2 hours, due to the remote location and inability to get heavy rescue equipment up their steep, mountainside driveway. Eventually, between airbags and a small tow truck, they were able to get him out. He was hospitalized for several weeks with 3rd degree burns on his arm, among other injuries. I kept thinking about how lucky the farmer was that he escaped relatively unscathed. Realizing how massive an extracation that my uncle's case was made, by watching this, made me thankful.

+Ron Pratt - your dedication of this video is truly special; you are no stranger to my opinion of you by now, but in case there was any doubt, YOU are one of those people that God places in our lives to make our lives richer and happier. I can only hope to ever visit your part of the US (as yet I am yet to venture outside the UK), and if I am lucky enough to do so, I would be delighted to look you up and shake your hand. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us all, and for the work that you do under the most adverse of conditions - and I am more than sure that your dedication will mean a vast amount to the family of the deceased friend, as I for one would class myself to be eternally lucky to be an acquaintance, let alone a friend, of yours. May God bless you in everything you do, and I pray that you are kept safe.

RIP Darrell. We all will be missed by family and friends one day. Through the years, I've lost my 2 sisters, my dad - and Mum went last August - just her time - she was 79. Ripped my heart out seeing her go - but it's better than watching her suffer. I only have my brother left. Life is short. Ron - that was a beautiful tribute. God Bless You, Your family, and your subscribers.

Ron, a great tribute to your friend. Cancer is a horrible, insidious disease -- I lost my grandfather to lung cancer back in 1971. It is always hard to lose a loved one -whether that one is a friend or a family member. You have my sympathy and prayers for his family!

You don't need to have a person by your side for their warmth, love and character to leave a mark on your life. Your friend Darrell will have passed through those gates smiling as his pain ceased, and knowing that he made a difference to you. And I'm pretty sure a place has been reserved for you with a wee marker on it that says "Not yet awhile". Ron, with every video you post I have felt a share of your warmth, your humility, your compassion and your love for your fellow travelers on this journey we call life. That right there has earned you your place in the Kingdom of Heaven. Tonight I'll add Darrell to my prayers, and a word or two for you in your grief. God Bless you and yours Ron. With love from Scotland.

Hi Ron my Grandfather passed away back in 2012 because of Cancer, and because of him I dont think I would be half the man Iam today. Darrell may he rest in peace and save us all a spot up there in Heaven.
@GM8101PHX

Johnny You can reserve your own spot in heaven by simply asking Jesus to become your Lord and Savior, admit you are a sinner as we all are, and ask Jesus to forgive of you of your sins!! Very simple but it must come from the heart. Then find a church that preaches directly from the Holy Bible!!! This goes for anyone that reads this message!!!

For those of us that believe, we know your friend is safe in God's arms. No more pain, no more sadness. RIP Ron's friend. A good friend of mine died when the farm field creek bank crumbled under his tractor tires and he tipped into the creek with the tractor on top of him. I was on the VFD, but we were too late getting there and had no way to get the tractor off of him. So, this video was a sad reminder of his tractor accident in 1960. Tnx for the videos and God Bless.

Ron, you have my sincerest condolences about your friend Darrell... My wife's stepdad Larry was diagnosed with brain cancer and he was given 6 months to live but he refused to give up and he lived another 12 years until he finally lost his battle in 2013. Through it all he always had a positive outlook and he always treated everyone around him well. None of us knows how much time we are given, we need to make the most of the time the good Lord gives us and stay focused on where we are going when we leave this earth...

Very nice eulogy. My friend Andy also recently lost his life to cancer, in his case a brain tumor. This is why it is SO important to keep the ROPS up any tractor, if it is a folding type. This fellow did OK being protected by the roll bar. Without the ROPS, he may have been injured far worse or killed. In my childhood, long before tractors had ROPS, I knew a fellow that was killed in a simple roll over.

ROPS is an acronym for Roll Over Protection System. One that you may be familiar with, but may not even realize what it is would be the large folding tube on the back of most zero-turn mowers. They are designed to help reduce/prevent injuries or entrapments in the event of a rollover.

Also you accept people as they are. Next to that, you are teaching the way i love and also in better day's dit. I also follow your channel for some years now, and i still love the way you, your famely and workers are. You all are a like and function like a loving famely. Respecting everithing and everybody as day are. But i never had post a reaction other then wen your dad past eway, because i'm and always will be a helper to dose in need and darfor i post a reaction to support you , your famely and workers. But now i have for the second time in my life cancer. In 1990 in had coloncancer and because its in my genes, It's even after operations still a hazard. Now i had sinds december troebel with my leftover colon and they could find the problem. Now i have had a few more examens and now they know that i have a very rare levercancer and it is the first time ever known ad a famylier poliposys patiënt. For now they still don't know wath they can do, derforfor i get more examens to find the answer. Derfore thank you Mister Ron Pratt, to be that speciale men. Now I know what you were doing when I came to visit! May Darryl rest in peace, and may you not rest in peace for a while yet! Be safe, brother. I was telling Mike I'm volunteer fire and some of my brothers die doing with red and blue what you do with mostly yellow. Very much respect.

Ron, I'm very sorry to hear about your friend, cancer sucks! I've been watching your channel for a while now and this is my first time to comment. You are an awesome mentor to the guys you take on the road with you. You take the time to teach them the right way to do things. That's a rare skill my friend, and you do it with ease. Stay safe!

Hi Ron, thank you for what you said about your friend Darell, I sure he valued your friendship too. The family of God is great and as a 73 yr old pastor and lifelong petrol head I really appreciate the rotation clips. I’m In Bristol, Olde England but have been to the USA three times, all east coast. Have friends in Newtown Square. PA May the Lord Jesus continue to bless your compassionate people and vehicle recovery ministry. David

I definitely wasn’t expecting a double intro, but it was a very good, very heartfelt eulogy. I really wish we could have seen Darrell riding with you in the Rotator, but I bet he’s watching over you on your recoveries. It’s good to know that he’s no longer in pain, and he’s in good hands. I’ll be honest, I did shed tears during your eulogy, and I said a prayer for Darrell and his family. Good luck and God bless you and your family Ron!
