Morning T! Hey, I think you both deserve that XTV1100. She can get around the property to do the gardening and all these good things and you can take it into the woods. Plus you can both head off to a nice area to have a picnic together where you can woo her just like when you were courting! LOL! Treat yourselves my friend. :)) You only live once. Love looking at all that shiny new metal. So hard to say no. Hope you and the Missus enjoyed the day. Cheers!

Hot doggies GP, I'm glad to see you agree with me on the fancyful Kubota. I'll pass those suggestions along and we will see how far we get. LOL. There IS something about all the shiny orange stuff isn't there. She's a softy so I think rekindling the woo-factor might just push the deal over the top !! And yes, we sincerely enjoyed the 'goof off' day for a change.
@GPOutdoors

LOL! Well, if she is anything like carol, do the wooing first, and then plant a few seeds on the XTV...water just a little (kindness) - not too much...and then put that bandana on, play a little Willie Nelson on the stereo and that XTV will be parked in your driveway by the end of the week. :)) Good luck T! LOL!

Good Morning Louise. What a wonderful comment to see for the last of the day. I am tickled to death that your husband enjoys some of the stuff I upload. It is all for entertainment, so the goal hopefully is being achieved. The Missus and myself were enjoying a nice fireside evening ourselves. Its so nice to see that others enjoy the more simpler things in life just like ourselves. I hope he got to see the '39 A being loaded for delivery to its new home. Let him know I've already gotten a few pictures of the beginnings of its 'new life'. Carb, head and exhaust manifold are all on the workbench. I'll be getting the JD 50 in the shop this year too. I hope the two of you enjoy many, many more warm evenings by the fire way down there in beautiful North Carolina.

She's been hanging in there for 45 years so far though, so I'm guessing I ain't going to shake her off anytime soon. I agree a cab would be nice during certain wintertime operations, but for the limited times with those conditions I can't quite justify one. Famous words: Happy wife, happy life !! LOL. I've always been a fan of picking up a dead one in a fence row off a country road. Trading a service call here and there and even trading a little sheet metal work on occasion is the way I've gotten quite a few. If you get it working again, there's so much more joy and satisfaction to be had by brining something though dead back to life. (hopefully for little cost) Oh we had a farmer friend that had an IH 2504 when our farm was still going, gasser too with loader and digger. Great tough tractor, would love to have bought it from them when they sold their farm but I didn't have the $$ then. I always liked how it said ''industrial'' on the front of that model. haha
