In this video, I have described the white matter of the spinal cord. White matter consists of the posterior, lateral, and anterior white column. They are also fasciculi or lemnisci. There are many ascending and descending tracts. Ascending tracts include fasciculus gracilis and cuneatus, anterior and posterior spinocerebellar tracts, and anterior and posterior spinothalamic tracts. Descending tracts include anterior and lateral corticospinal tracts, olivospinal, tectospinal, reticulospinal and vestibulospinal tracts.
