LYRICS: What you go and do Go and give a boy a gun Now there ain't no place to run to Ain't no place to run When he holds it in his hand He feel Mighty He feel strong Now there ain't no place to run to Ain't no place to run One day he may come back Repay us for what we've done There where you Gonna run to Where you gonna run But one fine day All our problems will be solved 'Cause Bang Bang Bang We shoot him down Give him drugs and give him candy Anything Oh to make him think he's happy So he won't ever come for us He won't ever come But if he does And if there's no one else around Bang Bang Bang We shoot him down If he Preys only on his Neighbors Brothers, Sisters and Friends We'll consider it a favor We'll consider justice done But if he comes for you and me And we can place a gun in his hand Bang Bang Bang We Shoot him down What you go and do Go and give a boy a gun Now theree ain't no place to run to Ain't no place to run Now we'll all be at his mercy If he decides to hunt us down 'Cause there ain't no place to run to Ain't no place to run He wants the chances that you took from him Oh and nothing that you own Then they'll be no place to run to They'll be no place to run And if he finds himself to be A reflection of us all Bang Bang Bang He shoot us down Before you can raise your eyes to read The writing on the wall Bang Bang Bang He shoot you down Before you can Bridge the Gulf between And Embrace him in your arms Bang Bang Bang He shoot you down

These are the type of lyrics I strive to have, insightful and honest-thought inducing. How Tracy sings them and the music that accompany the words are superb. To illustrate how great her lyrics are they can be sung in her style, to pop all the way to Funk, Hard Rock to Heavy Metal and be well-suited and just as impactful. Amazing!

Tracy has always been acutely aware of the heartache of the world in which we live. Be it personal loss, Domestic Violence, gun laws gone mad or any manner of injustice, Tracy gets down to the nitty-gritty. This lady tells it as it is, yet somehow refrains from passing judgement. Tracy has a pure soul and quietly goes about her business of helping those less fortunate. When will people realise that the pen is indeed mightier than the sword or in this case, gun?

I can't believe I've never seen this video. Chapman is a star in music and lyrics. She is also a gorgeous woman with no makeup - or very little I can't see. I am so tired of seeing over made up women with freakish lashes and lips that are so exaggerated they scare me. And let's not mention the clown colored plastic talons. Really would love to see more of her. Fantastic !

Amen to that, she is a beautiful natural woman. So sad that the majority of woman making "music" today are so overly made-up. Caricatures of women with all their fake Barbie parts. Too bad they didn't spend more time on their craft instead of on their appearances, we can tell by the music being put out today. Tracy we need you!!

Tracey is always the artist for the times we are in. I love her music with my wholeheart. She is anti establishment and anti ignorance. In the end its clear that despite being a premier talent she will never get what she truly deserves. I like to think that she has already received everything she wanted and for her its enough. As a people we don't support out artist unless rap music now a days. But with all the police violence, in new York, Missouri, Florida, texas, this song should be a national athem, protesting black violence. But will it? No. Let our voices be heard thru song and peaceful protest. With Tracy capman song at the head of the protest.but will we do it? No, we will find everything in our power to avoid it why? I don't know why. But stop awhile in your anger, and your confusion, and say hey, this is not working, maybe this will work. Let's try anything what we were trying before didn't work, let's try something new. Nothing beats a failure ,but a try. Come on folks, lets give it a try at least.

Amazing lyrics. A reality of what many goes through. Life is not a platform to entertain others by which ones action by reason of the hell others put some one throught as a result of hate, discrimination and or racism; to observe reactions and erections. Shameful acts like that sometimes comes from our public officer's. That is not healthy for life.

My daddy there has been a change in the music corporation from performance to looks. Just look at how many people don't know the joke by Brandi carlile a very talented artist who got very little air play and people didn't know of her until she won an award on t.v. . Its the industry. Pink floyd speaks about it on "have a cigar".
