Love the video to this one, all his songs are great. But something about this video is just so nostalgic. Almost like a dream of what real happiness was and it’s gone. I remember CMT channel playing this in the 90s after my dad I got home from road hunting.

So hard to pick a favorite... Alibis, Texas Tornado, Paint Me a Birmingham, If You Loved Me, Stars Over Texas... Heck If you haven't heard his new song "LIE" , check it out.. It's really good! I grew up listening to Tracy Lawrence, Mark Chesnutt, Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, George Strait, Randy Travis, Doug Stone, Tracy Byrd, Marty Stuart, Keith Whitley, Earl Thomas Conley, Travis Tritt, Dwight Yoakam, John Anderson, John Michael Montgomery, Shenandoah, Alabama, Little Texas, Rick Trevino, Clay Walker.. Outlaw Country from the 60's through the early 80's was great, but man was there a DEEP TALENT POOL in country music through the 80's and toward the end of the 90's. Everything became Monotonous and Identical after that. I still love my country, but I truly miss the old dogs from a great 1960-2000 40 year span...

+intimidator6969 I so agree with you. Today's music is performed by thugs, jailbirds, etc. Yet, they still get play. Country, I belived, judged him too harshly. Anyway, I believe he is a good man, and what happened 20+ years ago, should not interfere with him today. He should be among the performers on the 2015 CMAs. But, we know, that won't happen. 90's were the best.

Yes, catchy huh? country western club in NE Philadelphia had a huge wooden floor and it would be covered with sawdust...for dancing (boots are necessary) It would open about 8 PM until closing (2:00 AM) enjoyed meeting friends and dancing the two step etc.
