One of my favourite memories of Tracy was his heel run in JCW of all places. He was soooo hated! RIP you amazing man

lol there was one jcw show where some guy threw his pants at tracy and without missing a step, he picks them up, ties them around his waist and buddy had to sit there the rest of the show with no fuckin pants while tracy wrestled with them tied up and then went to the back with buddys pants the rest of the show lol

I saw this man live one time and was a fan ever since. He threw a folding chair into the crowd only because it was thrown at him first. He was Southern Tracy Smothers He had some real heat id never seen anything like it and was like the crowd wanted to kill him and this was 2007. "G is for jail cause a thug can't spell" Greatness! Thank You!

I really like this guy. These old school wrestlers have the best road stories.

Absolutely enraptured by this, and I'm only 30 minutes in. Steve Corino was a great person to pick to do this interview, and there's just something about hearing the way things were done in wrestling in the south in the territory days that is just fascinating. Thanks for posting this.

Loved tracy. what a great energy & talent he was. feel in love with his work in ECW circa 97-99. him & tommy rich were comedy gold in the F.B.I.

Tracy is the only guy who I ever heard say that the Undertaker destroyed careers for other people. I usually heard that about Chief Jay Strongbow.

How did the undertaker destroy the Careers of other wrestlers?
@bdr11308011 ай бұрын
@@citizenbeeswax7985 it’s been rumored after Tracy said this other people have also come out and said that undertaker would go to Vince and have other guys careers. Just ruined. That’s pretty much what happened to DDP. The only crime DDP ever did was making it as a main event guy in the wrestling business in WCW. After WWE bought WCW they treated everyone like crap that came over. Everyone signed one year deals and they all lost their matches, so is pretty much one year deals to ruin every once career that was a WCW guy. Booker T was the only one that decided to resign and after he resigned, they kind of accepted him, but everyone else just decided that if all they were going to do was just be a glorified jobber on WWE TV they just decided not to go back. I think that’s really messed up of them to do that. When WWF guys came to WCW, they were treated with respect for the most part.

Tracy was one of my favorites. Unfortunately, he’s another one of those wrestlers that never really got a fair shot on the national stage to show what he could really do. I mean he was in WCW/mid Atlantic as part of the Wild Eyed Southern Boys tagteam, and they won the NWA United States tag team championship , but eventually they broke that team up and just turned him to a mid heel, but never really gave him that much promo time. For anyone that’s a fan of his if you have never watched him in smoky mountain wrestling you are missing out. He was the franchise of Smoky Mountain Wreatling. that’s where really learned that he could not only wrestle, but he was also great on the microphone. His promos were awesome, caried that promotion on his back.

Corino wore the same shirt in a bunch of these 😆. I heard Tammy say she had helped HBKs mom pick out cabinets, wallpaper, etc for his new house in San Antonio before he left her for the nitro girl he married
