The fact that only 243 people liked this video is indicative of truly how tiny the amount of profitable traders really is. Great video as always Clay, thank you yet again

Yeah, some of the most important "tips" I've given are the least popular. Goes to show you where most people's minds are.

It was happens to me last month.I was on 3 winning streak and i was neglecting my risk,and trade at the same size over and over again.Guess what?on the entire week i have losing streak and all the gain from the winning streak was gone.The good thing is my account still remain the same amount..From that point,i cut my size in a half,and trading carefully with plan.In the future,i'm trying to be step by step be consistent and stick to my rule.Thanks for sharing,Clay!

How would you coach the opposite? As in, take 2 losses out the gate and trying to get back to par or profit. Great video thanks

Great advice. What do you do if your first trade of the day is a losing one? do you double up on your next trade, or half size, or what?

That's up to you and your personal risk tolerance and strategy.

Hi, so let’s say that I’m in the middle of a short squeeze with really good profits... Should I sell all of my shares and then rebuy a smaller position? Or should I sell just the half and leave the rest for the long term? Thanks!!!

Awesome. So I see my problem is I have small chunk of shares on my stocks. I should concentrate on less stocks more shares, so that I can put this into effect successfully.

Do you recommend the same if you start with a loosing trade? Take a smaller position for round 2 to at least minimize the losses? Thank you!
@claytrader5 жыл бұрын
Yes, that's a good place to start.

Isn't it better to keep it constant according to your capital size?

+Baron TV I'm not sure what you're asking.

I think also this is kidding yourself. Keep you risk 1% or 2% or whatever you use and keep it constant. Your edge will come in play after series of many trades anyway.

Thanks for this confirmation. I'm doing the same and it works excellent for me.

This is not really risk or trade management, but emotional management.

But if we keep making a small trade we will be ending up only giving money to broker . what we save for us only the amount that is already saved in our accounts. Remember we are in stocks to get a ride not just to sit our money in trading account
