Siakam has a halfcourt offense game too which he had to develop cuz the raptors had no creators. Pacers are gonna love what they got. He can take a lot of pressure off of haliburton to create. Dude fits perfect on the pacers. I think pacer fans dont quite know how good of a player they got.

I’m excited to see what he and Miles Turner look like on defense together. Turner is a terrific rim protector and shot blocker. Siakam can literally guard 1-5 as well as anyone I’ve ever seen. No drop off if they are a bruiser or a quick guard. Pacers just got really good.

Important to remember the pacers play almost zero defense, so they need to score 130 points a game to win. When you play little defense typically you get more shot attempts. Wolves play hard defense for 24 seconds a lot of positions. Same reason why ant edwards looks extremely dominant when you watch tv, but his stats don’t look comparable to Hali.
@colinnixon77395 ай бұрын
Yup. Pacers still just a playoff team. Yay? Siakam ain't a needle mover that's why he's traded 😂 Same with gobert. They gonna bounce around until they end up on a contender and then ppl will say "see! It was him! He was the missing piece" and now he's on hall of fame talks 😂😂😂😂
@Buffbison555 ай бұрын
@@colinnixon7739 i agree I think Naz Reid and McDaniels are gonna be more of a playoff x factor then gobert. Pacers aren’t bad I think they are a top 10 team, but historically scoring 130 points is much tougher in the postseason.

I love Siakam and I think he'd be great on the Pacers, but not because of those stats. Those stats suggest that the Pacers _are already doing the stuff Siakam does well and therefore don't need him for that stuff._ The guys they already have are doing what JJ is saying Siakam would do well for them, so why trade for him if you already have it? The reason I love Siakam on the Pacers is that he's a great all-around player who doesn't need the ball all the time. He's a guy who doesn't need to be in a particular system to be excellent. He's very long and switchable, he keeps the ball moving and creates well, and he's obviously fantastic on the break. He's not a good 3 point shooter and I worry a little about his lack of rebounding from a premium rebounding position, but his all around game is really strong and anyone can use that.
