You can have fun in bad taste. But when you do it at a club sanctioned windup representing the club and a high profile organisation in the AFL who employ you, don’t sook when you get slapped with sanctions. Happens in every workplace

It’s irrelevant if you’re offended or not. And yeah it probably is pathetic. But they’re professional athletes in a high profile sport with contractual obligations toward their employer. Regardless of how offensive or not offensive the antics were, they were at the very least, incredibly stupid to do it

More media-spin over-hyping the unreliable has-been. He can ignite a quarter once in a blue moon, but for too far in between he's nothing more than a passenger. Just getting rid of him is a win in itself. Getting any kind of pick for him is a bonus.

He was a huge part of their continuing 20 year bad culture problems. Someone had to be made an example of in order to try and set better standards especially towards the younger players who will the club will finally focus on developing properly.

Stringer to Giants. Seems like a long shot. Is Jake gonna drive standards? Of course not. Giants don't need these consultant type players, they need heart soul players, and the leadership group has been poor.
